Amazon — Not delivering the product | |||||
I ordered a book from Amazon on June 25. It was supposed to get delivered by July 2. As per the company, they tried delivering it twice but wasn't able to. In the first, they tried delivering but was quite late so decided to deliver the next day. In the second attempt, they reached the address but no one was there to collect it. The company did not call me and ask me if they could give it to neighbours or house guard. Now they have returned the book to the warehouse and it will not be delivered to me. The customer care is hopeless. I called them on 4th July to know the status. They promised me that the book will be delivered within 24 hours. They even send me a written mail apologizing for the late delivery. They said they will personally make sure that the book gets delivered but failed to do so. This is the second time I am facing the issue with amazon. I hate to order from this company. Waiting for some big ecommerce player like alibaba to enter the Indian market, then only amazon will learn its lesson. Was this information helpful? | |||||
