Appsdaily — Assurance given by vendor, for my samsung-a5 cell phone | |||
While purchasing a cell from the samsung show room located on sardar patel road, adyar, appsdaily representative sold me insurance for the phone. I paid in good faith and took the insurance paying around rs. 2500. After 8 months, the phone was damaged by a small scooter accident and as it fell, the front glass broke. I approached appsdaily with all details required for filing the claim. I submitted this claim in their office on 4th august 2016 and it took till 29th auh=gust to approve this claim. Thereafter it was sent to samsung service centre. Till writing this complaint samsung service says that there is no stock of the parts. The insurer says he has already authorised repairs though there is no explanation why they took so much time to approve. Secondly, they are saying that as samsung has no parts, the insurer has no more role to play. Why should they so long is not understood? I have suffered irreparable damages due to the cell phone not available to me and hence the insurer ought to replace with a new phone to me. Was this information helpful? | |||
