I recently painted my house using the Asian paints smart care painting service. After my online request Asian paints from the Nungambakkam Chennai branch contacted me for painting work. The measurements were taken by Asian paints supervisor Mr.Yuvaraj which I felt inflated and incorrect. Sri Raghavendra hardware, Padi, Chennai the contractor assigned by Asian paints started the painting work on the 22nd of September 2022. The contractor used only old stocks which are on the verge of expiry. They used only 9 liters to paint 1200 sqft area and the quality of painting shows on the walls. (Images attached). They even mixed water with hydrolic paint used for water proofing. The painters were not helpful and everything from shifting to masking was done by ourselves only. while painting they broke some valuable articles due to their negligence. They used my aluminum ladder and buckets for painting but have not cleaned them after finishing the service. The paint spillage on the floor and glasses are also left uncleaned. The supervisor Mr, Yuvaraj used to visit the site only once in two days and will turn deaf ears to my complaints. Finally When I lost my patience and verbally protest over the quality of the painting the work was hastily completed in a single day and the unused paint bucket handed over to me after collecting the charges over the MRP price. Since the painting was not done as per intial plan, I requested to re-measure the painted area and revise the quote, but Mr.Yuvaraj refused. No body from the Asian paints contacted me or inspected the site after the work was abruptly completed. The supervisor Mr.Yuvaraj has not given a bill and warranty (for water proofing) so far. I have attached images taken from the site as proof of my complaint. I hope Asian paints will act and compensate for the losses I suffered.
