Asianet — Worst broadband service

Asianet broadband, boasting to be the best and the largest Internet service provider has got a worse broadband service system. I recently upgraded from 510 Kb/s (which is truly never achieved as promised) to DART980 plan (boasting to give 6 MB/s speed). But soon I realized the the speed is still too low. I keep swirling around from one to another complaint and the customer care doesn't even know that modem needs to be changed. So after 2 weeks somebody comes for upgrading the modem and he doesn't have the modem I needed. So I end up buying costlier modem. Problems don't stop here. My bill is not adjusted and again I've to run around to get it adjusted. Still pending. Now almost after one month my speed drastically gets reduced. Mind you, I registered for an important online course needing high bandwidth. But I don't get it. The download speed is stuck at 40 KB/s today compared to 750 KB/s (5 MB/s). I've been calling them for a week sending mails to them, got 4 promised field visits pending from their side for a technician to visit and resolve it, nobody turns up for days. Technical support asks to forward screen shot to help-desk mail-id and no response. Bloody everybody keeps fooling around making me lose at my end costing my course at 1000 Rs per day. ok, it's me again. So today I changed my broadband connection from Asianet to Airtel.
Lemme narrate the story here.I shifted my location to some place 10 Kms away from the old one. I sent a mail to Asianet helpdesk 22 days back with complete details and told them on what date I would be available. After getting settled at new place I started chasing Asianet but in vain. I sent 3 mails and called them many times. So after writing a furious mail to helpdesk two guys dropped at my home, but vanished after 5 minutes promising me of returning in 5 minutes. I spoke to their supervisor kind of person and was assured of completion. I kept waiting for days but no result. So I called up Airtel on saturday for new connection, and here on monday I got it, fully featured. Just 2 days for a new connection. Bravo Airtel. Story doesn't end yet. Airtel provided me free telephone instrument and wi-fi modem(which will be mine after 6 months). Further, free calls all over India with a topup of 99 Rs. I just ran a speedtest and found the speed higher than promised.

So here I make the comparison:-
Asianet - 22 days for just shifting the connection, still not completed (So, I give 1 star to it)
Airtel - 2 days for new connection and happy service
