[Resolved]  Axis Bank — Given request for cancellation of my account 2 years back but still it is running

I am Sai Sundeep Kumar Darisinala

Holding an current account in axis bank with account number

And Coming to the point

The above mentioned account iam operating with axis bank from 2011. For the sake of Car loan repayment ...

Every month an amount 11950 will be payed to tata motors ...

And I have continued this account for 3 years...

ie., up to 10 October 2014

And my car loan also got finished so I have opt to close the current account which I don't want to continue...

So i visited the home branch of my account(ongole Praksam district) and i asked details for closure...

I visited the home branch in between 10 October to 20 th October 2014.

And has given a hand written letter to the respective person who is taking care at that time...

Even i handover My axis bank Atm card & check book also...

The bank people said after collection of those with in short period of time it will be closed ...

So i left my home and completely forgotten about axis bank account details issue..

Now the Major problem i am facing is

Yesterday some 3rd party person called me and said I have done wrong transaction of rupees 20000 to your account kindly please revert it back to my account he asked like that.

I asked clearly to which account have you transferred money

He told it was an axis Bank account of mee...

Immediately i went to the nearest branch and inquired about that ...

The money has been credited to my account and bank people has debited nearly 18000 for the minimum balance and some card maintaining charges has been detected.
then the remaining balance in my account is 2000...

The issue is first of all i have given request for cancellation of my account in the home branch 2 years back but the specific branch people have not taken immediate action and neglected my request...

and today i got a call from that 3rd party person and doing black mail like when will you return my money or else I will file a case on you in the police station like that he is doing blackmail ...

Here the complete mistake was done by bank people...

And today i am the victim... ...

Regarding to this i have raised a complaint and number is

25544096

So i need his money to be returned back to his account and i need that account to be closed immediately...
