[Resolved] Bajaj Electricals — Geyser SS tank corroded within two years and gives electric shocks | |||
I purchased a 15 Ltr Bajaj Geyser from Gujarat. It started giving problems within one year and thermostat was giving problem leading to less heating. Lately it stopped working all together and I booked a complaint with your Vadodara service centre - Prash Services at Hirawanti Chambers. This complaint was attended after four days that too after several reminders. Subsequently I was told a charge of Rs 4000 for repair which is almost the price I purchased the geyser. I am told that tank has corroded and thermostats is not working. I am really shocked that the Company of Bajaj repute is making a product which works only for two years and then service charges are equal to price of a new geyser. I request you to please look in to this and provide me a replacement. What quality of SSTank is being used that ot corrodes within two year and poor customer is asked to pay for it. Also the geyser safety was queationable as it started giving electric shocks while bathing which could have proven fatal. I request you to please look in to this urgently and replace this piece asap.
