[Resolved] Bata India — Defect in Shoe within 15 days o[censored]se | |||||
Dear Sir/Maam, I am a regular customer of Bata and have been wearing this reputed brand from past 15 years. However, I am disappointed this time with the quality of leather used in the recently bought Hush Puppies shoes. I purchased a pair of Hush Puppies on 29th July'15 (B No. 15437 worth INR 4499) from Central Mall, Gurgaon. After wearing this shoe for around 15 days, I have observed a deep cut in the leather pad below the shoe laces of one of the shoe and the same cut started to appear in the other shoe as well (Snapshot attached for reference). After this I went to the Central Mall and asked for replacement/repair of the shoe. Shoes were submitted and I have been asked to come after 15 days. And after 15 days, I have been told by Central Mall that this is not a manufacturing defect without any reasoning and with no records of getting this inspected by Bata. On asking further with their manager, I have been advised to submit a complaint in the Bata Customer care.
