10th of Aug 2015, I bought a pair of Dr Scholls sandals for my mother. After wearing it exactly once for 20 mins, she experienced severe pain on the ball of her right feet which resulted in limping for the next two days and repeated pain killer usage.
I went and inquired politely at the store we bought about possible replacement of the product assuming that there must be something wrong with the product that is not apparently to the naked eye. The manager apparently is not available for any conversation physically or by phone between the times of 3.00 - 6.30 PM as it is his lunch time (3.5 hours and it wasn't even an exaggeration). The sales representative clearly disregarded our request and mentioned that he won't entertain any such exchange requests because it was tried once in the store before buying and was subsequently used for 20 mins.
After repeated calls to the customer service people (First time the complaint was lodged but they couldn't find the complaint when I called to inquire about its progress), I have successfully managed to get my complaint officially lodged into the data base. Unfortunately their resolution team thinks that me going and talking to the store owner is the only way to resolve the replacement issue that I am facing.
As a customer, this is what I am NOT going to do: Go to that store again ever in my life and talk to sales rep and the manager.
However, I want to give another shot to the resolution team to help me with this issue. I want to get a replacement of the product, or I will continue with escalating this issue. Not because I have spent 1999/- on a product from your company but because of the way you make me feel as a customer when I come to your store or call your customer service people.
