Bike needed mid year service (6th month), since i was not in the location at that time could not do the service. When i arrived in town, we had witnessed the lockdown. Vehicle did not either run in that period.Vehicle when arrived for later for the service, it was serviced for 1 year service or 12k km as per the process, skipping the 6th month. There was no issue with vehicle noted and it was ran only 4.5k km.
Post that service vehicle ran for 2k km and now had a front shock issue. Benelli has rejected the warranty, quoting that i have skipped the 6th month service and they are saying my vehicle will not be on warranty from now.
If there was no pandemic issue, i would have got the service post i arrived at town, which i could not since it was lockdown.
Benelli India expected me to prioritise the service over the care i had to take for myself and people around me. For my decision of making safety as priority, benelli India has cancelled my Warranty. Was this information helpful? |
