Benelli India — My Vehicle was taken for Warranty replacement and was promised delivery in 2 days. Now its 7 days and still no update from them

As discussed and agreed, I had dropped my vehicle at the service centre on Monday (22nd March at 1:30pm). As per our conversation the vehicle was supposed to be delivered back to me on Wednesday (24th March 2021), yet you asked for a day's time on Wednesday and I agreed to it..

On Thursday (25th March 21), you informed me that the vehicle is ready, but you are waiting on some email from the Warranty team and it's Saturday today but I have no clue on the delivery of my Vehicle yet and I have tried calling you on your mobile a couple of times, and also sent you a text on whatsapp.

Doesn't look like you guys are interested in giving my vehicle back, you guys can continue to keep the vehicle and I will take this up legally for the discomfort caused to me and the charges, I have been induced because of the delay in delivering the vehicle.

You guys make me look, as if this Vehicle was not purchased by me rather it was like a charity or gift from Benelli..

This is the height and worst customer service in today's world.

When I send my vehicle to the service centre, my expectation is that the service centre would review the vehicle and keep me updated about the complaints. Its not the customer who is to keep coming and telling you about complaints.

@vikas - Request your help on this one, though I was told over the years that Benelli service is pretty bad in India. I still went ahead and brought Leoncino as I was assured this to be the best build and a signature model. But doesnt look like any of it is kept up, nor the service has improved and the quality of the vehicle and communication is pathetic.

If you guys believe, this is how a customer is to be treated. I am prepared to face it in consumer court.

Hello Vikas and team,

Just listing down my communication with your service centre Bangalore(Domlur) and the Trauma, I have been going through for 3 months in a row..

1. during our meet on 7th of Jan 2021, I had pointed out my concerns related to the footrest, fuel tank, T-stem and Monogram having issues with the quality of material and paint used.
2. All required photos were taken and collected by your team on the same day
3. As per my conversation with you at the service centre, you had requested for 15 days to seek approval from your Warranty team and to procure the parts to be replaced
4.As per the email dated 2nd of March 2021, and my discussion with you on phone. All parts had arrived post necessary approval and it was pending on me to drop the vehicle at the service centre.

5. I had dropped the Vehicle at the service centre on the 22nd of March 2021 (1.30pm) and was assured that all the complaints would be addressed and upon completion of replacement of the parts you would notify me in 2 days and that prolonged.
6. On Friday noon, you confirmed over the call and Whatsapp chat that the Vehicle is ready and the below items were replaced under Warranty:
a. Fuel Tank
b. Footrest - 4
c. T-Stem
d.Monogram
Though the above have been replaced, you are waiting for an final approval email for delivery of the vehicle.

Today is the 29th of March and my vehicle has still not been delivered and now you call me and say that your Warranty team is not ready to approve the parts which have already been replaced on my vehicle makes no sense to me..
First you dismantle my vehicle, replace the parts and now again you call me and say that they have not agreed to replace the parts, rather they are suggesting to paint them and fix them.. This is ridiculous

I will have this posted on the Benelli India Group, Facebook and all social media channels

ALSO PLEASE NOTE, IF ANYTHING IN MY VEHICLE IS PAINTED OR EVEN TOUCHED WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I WILL TAKE LEGAL ACTION AGAINST BENELLI INDIA.
IF MY VEHICLE IS NOT DELIVERED BY TOMORROW EVENING WITH ALL THE COMPLAINTS ADDRESSED, I SHALL TAKE NECESSARY ACTIONS AGAINST THE SERVICE CENTRE.

NOTE: I HAVE ALREADY POSTED THIS IN THE CONSUMER COMPLAINTS FORUM AND THE NEXT STEP IF MY VEHICLE ISNT DELIVERED BY TOMORROW EVENING, I WOULDN'T HESITATE TO WRITE AN EMAIL TO YAN HAIMEI (CEO- BENELLI GLOBAL)
