[Resolved]  Berg Roti Maker — Faulty Berg Roti Maker

This is with regards to the order #[protected] for the Berg Roti Maker unit which I have BOOKED on 17TH OF NOVEMBER 2014 on cash on delivery, I wanted to express my concerns and frustrations on this, it seems like I have been cheated by this unit, find by concerns below. 1. As advertised in HS18 Channel, I haven’t received the freebies recipe book and Mitten. 2. There are mild scratches on the right side of the unit. 3. The handle of the unit which used to press is completely towards the right side where in it should be in the center. 4. The unit doesn't work as shown in the AD, followed the procedure as seen in TV and in Manual, still the Roti's are not being cooked fully, it either cooks half of the Roti and the other half is uncooked or half of the roti is over burned and other half becomes hardened like papad, followed the procedure and prepared the dough as advised and the results are same. These are the above issues I am facing with this unit, I have called up to HS18 team and their way of response and approach is completely awful and unacceptable, I have called up to your call center as per the policies to return/refund of this unit, one of your call executive offered me to replace the unit with any other product in HS18 and arranged a call to me from the concerned department to speak about the refund, later I got a call from the refund dept, the person was pathetic, I don’t know who hired him, he is not aware of how to speak to the customers, he sounded like a goon and restricting orders like and explaining me about the terms and policies, he was very rash and rude over the call, is this the way you HS18 deal with the customers?? he said I need to return the unit by packing it through the speed post to Delhi address where in it many take couple of days for quality test, he said he shall be texting me the address and the details and which he failed to do so, I had to call up to your team again to get the address and the other details of how to ship the unit. When I am not interested in this defective unit, why are you people wasting my time and money to send it back, pay for the freight charges and to wait for couple of weeks and all, the bottom line is crystal clear I do not want this product. It has been more than a day now; I had received a call from one of your care lady executives from [protected] by 3.30 PM, she assured me that a refund would be provided for sure and the same would be communicated via e-mail within 10-15 minutes, it has been almost 10 hours now, I have not been contacted by any one and no email was sent regarding the refund. What kind of pathetic support it is, don’t you people have common sense and the minimum responsibility to contact the customer after his repeated emails, have you not bound by any kind of code of conduct? TAKE THIS AS A WARNING OR A PRECAUTION, THIS HAS REACHED TO THE SERIOUS CORE NOW, I WONT HESITATE WIDE-SPREADING THIS CASE OF APATHY. WHAT KIND OF SUPPORT IT IS, YOU CALL UP TO THE CUSTOMERS, YOU ASSURE THEM ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES AND YOU WONT STAND BY YOUR WORDS AND YOUR PRODUCTS, THIS WHOLE PROCESS SEEMS TO BE RETARDED NOW BY HS-18. AFTER SENDING AN EMAIL WITH THE ATTACHMENTS, THE LADY OVER THE PHONE INDEED ACCEPTED THAT IT IS A FAULTY UNIT AND I SHALL BE GETTING A REFUND, SHE ADVISED ME TO SEND THE DEFECTIVE UNIT BACK VIA SPEED POST AND ACKNOWLEDGE THE FREIGHT DETAILS AND WITHIN 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS I SHALL BE GETTING THE REFUND, SHE ALSO ASSURED TO DROP AN EMAIL FOR THE SAME WHICH I HAVEN'T RECEIVED TILL NOW..PATHETIC / UGLY AND WORST CUSTOMER SUPPORT I HAVE EVER SEEN. I DO HAVE TO AND FRO EMAILS THAT WE HAVE EXCHANGED ALONG WITH THE SNAPSHOTS OF THE FAULTY UNIT, AS I TOLD YOU EARLIER THAT I DO HAVE A LARGE FRIENDS CIRCLE AND GROUPS IN SOCIAL MEDIA FACEBOOK AND TWITTER, I SHALL BRING THIS INCIDENT TO THEIR NOTICE AND MAKE SURE THAT MAXIMUM PRODUCTS OF HS-18 ARE THE MAJOR DETERRENT AND VULNERABLE IN MANY WAYS AND MAY NOT WORK EXACTLY SHOWN IN THE AD AND CHANCES ARE HIGH OF BEING CHEATED. I SHALL BE WAITING FOR YOUR REFUND ASSURANCE EMAIL AND A CALLBACK FOR THE SAME BY TODAY, IF NOT BEING CONTACTED, YOU SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONSEQUENCES. REGARDS, MOHD JEELANI.

This is taking up to the nerves now, the lady had called me an hr back and assured me an refund email within 10 to 15 mns, I haven't got any email till now, is someone there or just wasting up my time, do I need to keep sending reminder emails?
