Bharat Gas — Sell items to the customers along with gas saying they are mandatory

I recently got new gas connection from Bharath gas agency at Basaweshwaranagar. and the lady at the countersold this to me saying that its mandatory to take pigeon items along with the connection. and i was charged 6, 750 for single cylinder connection. This is not acepteble . please take action against them.
