Bharat Sanchar Nigam [BSNL] — BSNL Fiber

Respectd Sir/Ma'am,
From 18 July I'm trying to get BSNL Fiber at my home at Narayan Nagar, Near Sumra Society - 1 Km far from the main city Bus Stand. And most of the time the person who is the 3rd party vendor appointed by BSNL is telling me that in a week I will get the connection. More than 2 Months passed and today on 24th September I again called him and he asked 10000 Rs. charge for the wire or if I don't pay the amount then he said it will still take time. My question is how much time. According to him only the wire is already there at Bus stand which is only 1 km far from my home. So in two months also they couldn't make the wire reach my home. And pathetic is that that they are asking 10000 Rs. wire charge.

As a customer, I contacted a respected BSNL officer at the Gondal branch. I asked him, what to do about this? And he replied we can't do anything except waiting because BSNL gave this work to 3rd party vendor. So he was also feeling helpless. My point is that if you gave this work to 3rd party then the work should improve, but here I can sense it is deteriorating. And as a customer, I am feeling devastated for the delay of 2 months. And still can't see the chances of it happening. And even don't know from whom I can get surity?

I called BSNL customer car number [protected]. . And they also said, we can't help. I asked them to give any contact to whom I can go to for this problem. But again they said sorry and couldn't provide any information or solution. Total waste of time for both.

So at last after trying my best Finally writing this here. With the hope that I'll get some positive solution from BSNL and somebody will really listen to the problem I'm facing from past 2 months.

And I have all the recodings of the calls with the vendor, And its Summary I'm writing down: (Starting from 18th July 2022 to 24th September 2022)

18th July (2 Times) - Couldn't Pick up
19th July - First call - He offered me to use his private internet rather than BSNL fiber.
20th July - And the offer I refused and got sticked to the choice of BSNL fiber. He said in 3-4 days the wire will reach to home. And told that He will visit the site.
21st July - He confirmed that he seen the site. And will send me the photo of Modem.
22nd July - Called him to Reminde to send the modem details.
24th July - Called him that 3-4 days passed what happened about the wire? So he changed his statement and told me that he said 1 week. And couldn't work due to rain. 1500 He will charge for the modem. And he assured me that he will do it as early as he can do.
4th August - He replied the work is going on and in a week it will come for sure before the week because the work is on. Again talked about his private connection available. And I ignored that.
20th September (3 Times) - Couldn't pick up.
21st September - Still work is on. He confirmed that wire has already reached to the bus stand(Just 1 km far from my Home Location). And there are two connections going on around bus stand. He will try as early as possible.
24th September - He asked 10000 Rs. for the wire or if I don't pay then I have to wait. And in between he also refused for a moment to not give connection.

My only concern is that, how the BSNL will stays in the market if it works like this and when their own officers feels helpless and can't do anything because all the powers stays in the hand of the private 3rd party vendor. whose intention is only profit, money and to charge as much as he can. And also when the 3rd party vendor already has his own private internet service to give. why he give preference to BSNL service?

And how much wait and pain customers like us have to face?
