[Resolved] Bharti Axa — ncb claim in new car insurance | |
I am writing this email to clarify the ncb claim matter on the following: - i sold my 9 year old hyundai i20 car on 10-mar-2020 and bought a new kia seltos car on 12-mar-2020. (The old car was sold to kia showroom dealer and a stamped sale receipt is obtained but the name transfer is not yet done). - the insurance (New india assurance co) for my old car was valid till june 26, 2020 and had ncb of 50%. - to avail the 50% ncb on the insurance (Bharti axa) for the new car, i produced a ncb certificate from new india assurance. - now, bharti axa is providing ncb only from the date of expiry of old policy (June 26, 2020) and not from the actual policy date of 12-mar-2020. The clarification i need is if i have the stamped sale receipt of my old car and ncb certificate from old insurance company, am i not eligible for ncb claim from the actual policy date for the new car.
