Biman Bangladesh Airlines — Staff has harrassed me and still have not compensate me for the Damages caused by them

I am writing this email with an utmost disappointment and frustration.


I purchased an air ticket going from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Dubai that transit from Dhaka Bangladesh on the date of 24th June 2015 (Please refer to ticket details below, I have forwarded the E-TICKET issued by Biman Bangladesh Airlines). I purchased the ticket from the Biman Bangladesh Airline official website and i call Biman Bangladesh Airline Customer service to double confirm before i paid as well as before i leave Kuala Lumpur to make sure everything is in place.


My entire journey was from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Mogadishu Somalia. Thus, I purchased the ticket from Malaysia to Dubai from Biman Bangladesh Airlines and from Dubai to Mogadishu, I purchased another ticket DAALLO Airlines. As per you can see from the original ticket that the Biman Bangladesh Airlines issued me, 3:15am 24th June 2015 local time we took off from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia to Dhaka Bangladesh.


Unfortunately, when I reach Dhaka Bangladesh, Biman Bangladesh Airlines told me that there is no Biman Bangladesh Airlines that is going to Dubai. However, when I show them the ticket that I purchased from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai, they were very surprise and gave very straightforward answer that there is no Biman Bangladesh Airlines going to Dubai at all. At last they told me that the ticket I bought does not exist from Dhaka Bangladesh to Dubai (I purchased the ticket from Biman Bangladesh Airlines official website). Biman Airlines sold me a ticket that does not exist in the first place, you cheated me and my money for great expenses.

Nevertheless, Biman Airlines tried to put me in to different Airline that goes to Dubai, but after trying for few times, all failed whereby I end up missing my other flights from Dubai to Mogadishu that caused me great amount of financial lost.


After trying everything and everything they tried failed. The person in charge in Biman Airlines told me that they will send me back to Kuala Lumpur but there is only one flight a day to Malaysia. When I ask if there is any earlier flight which they can board me in because I don’t have any place to sleep and I have been awake for pass 48 hours with all the mess that they have caused. My mother is sick and in a very critical condition, I need to get back to Malaysia ASAP and try to get another ticket home to see her before it’s too late. But they swear and told me that there is only one flight a day to Kuala Lumpur and that is at 8pm 25th June 2015 tonight. When I tried to argue more, all the staff just walked away leaving me in the airport alone. So I give up and went to mosque to sleep. When I woke up just now at 9am local time, surprisingly I saw there is a flight that Biman Airlines going to Kuala Lumpur at 10am. Why wasn’t I put on that plan? I came to the Biman Airline staff told them that yesterday they swear that there is only one flight at 8pm, and there is no any early flights at all but they lied to me. I told them I should get into this flight at 10am because I need to go to Kuala Lumpur ASAP and buy another ticket home to see my mom before its too late, but surprisingly they told me “you can’t take 10am flight, if you want to take 8pm flight go ahead and take it, or else stay in Dhaka”. At last, the 10am flight from Dhaka to Kuala Lumpur was gone as well.

You have already sold me a ticket that does not exist, when I got stuck in Dhaka airport no one was helpful, the worst part is your staff keep telling me lies, being very rude, although Biman Bangladesh Airlines has cheated me by selling me a ticket that does not exist, but they were not taking any responsibility during my sufferings. When I told Biman Bangladesh Airline staff in Dhaka, they told me to go and complain where ever I can, they are not scare of my complain. This is total criminal. You destroyed all my trip, you cause great amount of financial lost to me, and you caused so much damages to my personal life by wasting my Annual Leave from the company. I wasted so much money, so must time and effort. Biman Bangladesh Airlines caused me so much damages that I could ever imagine, this is total unprofessional with no customer service and this is the worse airline I have even taken in my entire life.


The main reason I was traveling home is because my mother was sick and in a very critical condition. Biman Bangladesh Airlines wasted so much of my time, money, and effort and caused great amount of damages. What Biman Airline did is CRIMINAL, not exceptional at all. Besides selling fake ticket, stealing my money, they put me in hell in Dhaka. I am not sure if I can even take the 8pm fight back to Malaysia.


Above is only a very brief of what has happened, I am going to make police report against Biman Bangladesh Airlines the moment I reach Kuala Lumpur and I am taking this case into highest court possible if Biman Bangladesh Airlines does not take responsibility.


I need Biman Bangladesh Airlines to reply my email ASAP and explain to me why they sold me fake ticket, the ticket that does not exist in the first place, and I also need answer from Biman Bangladesh Airlines on how they can compensate me with all the loses and damages they have caused me. I need answers ASAP.
