I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding the recent experience I had at your theater, Cinemart RC Puram, on 24th February 2024. I had booked two tickets for the 7:35 PM showing at your theater through the platform BookMyShow.com. However, upon traveling over 15 kilometers through heavy traffic to reach the theater, I was informed that the movie had been canceled.

What exacerbates the situation is the lack of proper communication and accountability demonstrated by your staff and management. Despite engaging in a 45-minute discussion with your staff, led by Manager Anand, there was no satisfactory explanation provided for the abrupt cancellation of the movie. Furthermore, while assurances were given that the ticket amount would be refunded, there has been a notable absence of communication from either the theater or BookMyShow.com regarding the refund process

To rectify this situation and prevent similar incidents in the future, I urge you to take the following actions:

1. Provide a formal apology for the inconvenience caused and the lack of communication regarding the movie cancellation.
2. Ensure prompt and transparent communication with customers regarding any changes or cancellations of scheduled screenings.
3. Offer appropriate compensation for the time and expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation, including reimbursement for travel costs and ticket prices.
4. Implement measures to improve customer service, including staff training on effective communication and handling o[censored]nexpected situations.

Sent the above communication and followup in couple of emails, but no response except the refund.

I need resolution such as Provision of compensatory measures commensurate with the temporal and financial expenses incurred, inclusive of the round trip distance of 30 kilometers, entailing significant travel expenditures and time commitment. This encompasses the substantial inconvenience endured consequent to traversing the distance amidst heavy traffic, only to encounter the cancellation upon arrival, necessitating an additional 15 kilometers on the return journey.
