We had booked two tickets for the movie “Joker” at Cinepolis: Acropolis Mall for 7th October, 2019; Monday. We arrived at the hall, got our codes scanned and got to our seats, and to our surprise some other people had the same seats as us. Upon escalation of the issue to the personnel at the ticket counter, we found out that the date on our ticket was wrong and of 8th October, 2019; Tuesday. To confirm the fact that it wasn’t fault on our part, we were notified by the app that it was time for us to switch to “Movie Mode” as it was our movie time. (Screenshot attached) The following facts prove that the booking done by us was right and not our fault: 1. The QR code was accepted by the counter on 7th October, 2019 and it wouldn’t have been if it was our mistake with the date 2. The app notification that it was movie time as per our reservation on Monday (which is the day we booked the tickets for, but not given) To compensate for our wasted time and efforts, we request our tickets to be compensated for by a refund. We have tried to reach their customer support but they didn’t even read the mails properly to understand the situation. Was this information helpful? | |||
