[Resolved] BookMyShow.com — Online Transaction Failed & SMS & Email confirmation delivered 2 hours later | |||
Hello Sir/Madam, I had booked 3 Tickets online through bookmyshow for the Jurassic World show at 12:55 in INOX SWAGATH MALL Bangalore on July 18th 2015. The transaction was made at 11:20 AM but I got an error saying 'Transaction Failed'. Bookmyshow was very slow that day and when I got error couple of times so I went and directly booked the Movie tickets from the Theatre. My booking details are as below :- Booking ID :- 124796 I then get the SMS & Email Confirmations from Bookmyshow which is past the movie start time. How can this happen when I had got the Transaction Failed error Online. I am enclosing the snapshots of the SMS & EMAIL Delivery times.. Please see that email was delivered at 12:56 and SMS at 1:13 while the movie was starting at 12:55 I tried to reach the Customer care (over phone) and also through Chat but No body helped me instead they said that they have sent the sms and email on time. I also sent them the screen snapshots which showed the time on my mobile and also on gmail when the booking confirmation was received If required, I can also scan the movie tickets that I went and bought in Person as the transaction through bookmyshow failed. I request that I get my entire amount credited to the Account asap. Was this information helpful? | |||

We know this must have caused you trouble. Please accept our apologies for it.
As per our telephonic conversation today (20th August, 2015) we are in process of refunding your transaction.
The amount of Rs 985.50 should reflect back in your account once the amount is processed from our end.
You will be notified via a message about the refund. From then it would take a maximum of 5-7 working days or 10 working days in case it is a nationalized bank.
In case of coming across a instance as such, share with us the contact details entered while transacting at [protected]@bookmyshow.com LIVE CHATS or at[protected]
We also have the Resend Booking Confirmation on my website which can be used in case of not receiving the confirmation details.
