BWSSB — Water bill charged for 12500

Hi, I am a resident of #152, Royal shelters devarachikkanahalli, bangalore. In 2004 mar, we have paid rs. 10000 as the deposit. However, they have charged 10000 as arears and made the bill to be around 12500. When we personally went to the bwssb office at BTM layout, with the photocopy of the Bill fo10000 paid, they rejected it asking us to submit the original bill. My question is how can anybody give them original bill? Do they not have any accountability to keep their books in order. On top of that they demand us to give original bills. They have spoiled our weekend. Please look into the matter and get it corrected. Regds, Vinitha gare
