No Hotel Reservation!!

I booked a suprise weekend away for my husbands 40th birthday in London. This was all paid for in May 2009. Unfortunately... same old story as previous customers.... when we arrived to check in at the hotel on 2nd october 2009, we were told our reservation had been cancelled. I had all the relevant paperwork but bookinhotels.com had not paid the hotel. Luckily the hotel did have enough room for us to stay but I then had to pay again on...

Failed to honour its promise for a refund

I made a booking with bookinhotels.com which requires cancellations to be made 3 days before the 1st day of stay.
I then sent an email one week before the due date to change my booking as I was delayed by one day. I got a reply saying that a refund will be credited to my credit card account. When I arrived at the hotel I was told the same thing and I paid for the room again.
It is now more than weeks and the company still has...
