Hi,
I am son of Hony subedar major, Bijoy Sarkar JC667497M. I took my mother for her issues with the reports to ECHS Polyclinic Bangalore (URBAN) to GP CAPT (Dr) PC Ghosh room no. 2.

On 21 December 2024, I accompanied my elderly mother to the polyclinic for her regular health check-up and prescription renewal (BP and thyroid-related medication). From the very first interaction, Dr. Ghosh’s demeanor was rude and disrespectful, which is highly unbecoming of a doctor serving elderly patients.

During the consultation, Dr. Ghosh spoke in a condescending and intimidating manner. His exact words included unnecessary remarks like, “Kaise kaise log aate hain, 14th ko leke gaye, tere jaise log aur chahiye, ” which were uncalled for and deeply hurtful. He also displayed an unacceptable level of aggression by throwing my mother’s notebook in front of her.

My mother, already feeling vulnerable, was visibly shaken and scared by this behavior. As her caregiver, I chose to remain calm and composed despite the provocation, prioritizing her mental and emotional well-being. However, I firmly believe that no patient, especially an elderly person, should be subjected to such treatment.

Dr. Ghosh’s behavior not only lacked basic respect and empathy but also failed to uphold the ethical standards expected of a medical professional, especially in a facility like ECHS, where the majority of patients are senior citizens who deserve patience, kindness, and dignity.

I urge you to consider the following points:
1. Accountability: Dr. Ghosh’s actions reflect poorly on the institution and may have a detrimental impact on the mental and emotional health of patients. Such behavior needs to be addressed immediately.
2. Training and Counseling: Doctors in ECHS facilities must be reminded of the importance of empathy and effective communication, especially when dealing with the elderly.
3. Patient-Centric Care: Steps must be taken to ensure that patients feel safe, respected, and cared for, as this directly impacts their overall health and recovery.

If such behavior continues unchecked, it may discourage patients from seeking necessary medical care, fearing humiliation or mistreatment.

Lastly, I would like to remind Dr. Ghosh and the concerned authorities that words have the power to heal as much as they can hurt. A little empathy and mindfulness in communication go a long way in building trust and ensuring better health outcomes for patients.

I request further action taken on Dr. Ghosh and a formal acknowledgment of this complaint and an assurance that corrective action will be taken to address this matter. Else I would be taking this matter further.

Hi sir, yesterday. I go to the ECHS polyclinic jhajjar for taking a permission for chemotheray.my old reference was expired, I show them all old references.Dr, Jayant kumar denied my work after showing him all documents, and misbehaved with me .my documents throw out from table and called me uneducated and villagers. He completely denied to do any work of me.Dr. jayant kumar said me that you will have to go gurgaon sohna road dispensary for any type of work.
I also spoke to officer incharge but no result found

My ECHS polyclinic is jhajjar BUT they send me gurgaon ECHS polyclinic

Yesterday I was admitted my father in vivekanand hospital, Latur for urine & ortho problem but they don't get proper treatment

Durgapur The Mission Hospital and Health World Hospital are good but not enlisted with ECHS.
Kolkata- R N Tagore Hospital, Kolkata Appolo, Fortis Hospital, Belle Vue Hospital, Tata Medical Centre Rajarhat etc etc are all good but not enlisted with ECHS

Dear SIr
I named JC-755085 N Sub Maj ( Hony Lt ) resident of Dist. Rewari Haryana . My parent polyclinic is ECHS Rewari.
I wish to lay down the following few lines for necessary action :-
(a) My Wife ( Mrs Anita Devi) underwent surgery in the case of Past Burn Constructive at ECHS impanelled Hospital Pushpanjali at Rewari . She was admitted for surgery wef 09 Jun . to 11 Jun 2023. .
(b) After discharge the doctor advises to report for dressing after 2 days and review after 7 days. On both the dates (13 June and 17 Jun 2023 ) she reported for dressing but the items required for dressing were provided by the Pushpanjali Hospital on cash payment. The bills of Rs. 4120.00.
(c) Now Pushpanjali Hospital and ECHS polyclinic denied for reimbursement .( Referral also taken for that)
(d) It is also intimated that the bills made by the Hospital for surgery have not been signed by the patient / attendant.
(e) Now again the doctor advise for 5 days dressing and cleaning for that the medicine bill approx Rs 5000/-
It is also intimated that I have written to RC but no action has been taken till date.

In view of the above, request to clarify how I can reimburse the above bills.

I have to go to echs patiala for referral.dr rudely taking me your not othrise for referral.your other echs polyclinic patient.so many refferal for me nabha and patiala. You go anywhere complaint for me . You can't to anything.

Patiala echs no give me referral for other echs.

I am jagdish, a retired army officer. Three months back, I applied for the ECHS card and haven't received any response from the record office yet. I have tried to reach to offices through customer care numbers but no one is answering the calls.. There's a medical emergency in my family.. I need cards on urgent card. Kindly help me out with this.. I am feeling ashamed while saying that those who served the indian army for more than 20 years are not getting medical services, what a common man can expect from govt.

Sir, the hospitals are charging extra money on the name of consumables by the echs members on being discharged from the hospital. The charges are being taken for gloves, bedsheets, syringes, sanitizers and even the catheters that are part of the treatment. In case the patient is asking for any specific and special things that are not part of the treatment, like asking for extra sheets, extra gloves for attendant or any other comfort amenities...

Undersigned, the retired Petty Officer (Service I'd - 148686Z) Indian Navy, has submitted the request for reimbursement of medical claim of spouse. Subsequently, a SMS was received on January 15, 2022 indicating that reimbursement claim id 19555858 for Rs.38, 609/- has been settled by ECHS and will be credited to bank account within 10- 15 working days. Since then, it has been one complete year and the amount has not been credited to the bank account.

You are kindly requested to look into the matter and do the needful for credit of the amount. I will be highly obliged to you.

2. I am an ex serviceman retired on 31 July 2015. Above card has been issued in the name of my daughter. I have submitted 26as form which was demanded for extension of eligibility.

3. Now OIC polyclinic Ranchi and RC are demanding unmarried certificate of my daughter. Where do I get that unmarried certificate. Please guide me.

Echs men medicin ablable nahi rahta hai aur farmasist bolta hai ki yeha par vitamin ka tablate nahi aata hai

I JC559751F EX Sub (Hony Lt) Narayan Singh. I physically verified my ECHS appln from Records on 04 Aug 2022 and my card is printed on 09 Nov 2022 but after lapses of more than 20 days my card is not desp yet. Request desp the same as my wife is suffering from Brain Tuberculosis and she is paralysed and dependent for all Dailey routines I want to Admit her so I need card. Pl help us my Regt Mob No is [protected]. I am fully aware about CEHS card making procedure but I am also hopeless. It's my humble request to the authorities who is dealing with my complaint pl act on it.
