poor fuel efficiency

i hv recently purchased MARUTI SWIFT VXI on 5 th sept 2010,from spectra motors ghatkopar mumbai,i found that the average fuel consumption is 9 km per lit, with partial AC on ,which i feel too low at K-SERIES engine.
i had first service done on 3 oct2010 at same place and in tht i mentioned complaint of poor fuel eff. they have reported checked /varified engine parameters but still i am not able to get the dDESIRED average on a contrary...

I had bought new car because we believe that maruti will provide the best quality parts but the tyre I got that has damaged (one side air) in only 4500km I have driven our car. tyre is jk company tyre.

Hi,
I had claimed an insurance and got my vehicle done in Mandovi motors and there was a dent on the Bonnet and there was a scratch on the wind shield they asked me to come back on the next service, When I went back they say they did not talk at all.
