Hello Sir/Madam,
I ordered a 4kg chocolate mocha cake from www.cakestudio.in for delivery on Sunday (May 4th). On the day of delivery, I got a call from Just Bake, a local Bangalore bakery called me saying CakeStudio had billed me but placed the order fulfillment in the hands of JustBake. This was done completely invisible to me, and without my knowledge. Obviously, JustBake is not at fault here. They promptly came and delivered the cake, as it was too late to change or cancel my order.
Chocolcate Mocha: Rs. 600/kg (Just Bake)

What are they charging this Rs. 200/kg for? Running their call center? One can only wonder.
I called their call center and asked to be put through to a supervisor or owner, and was promptly hung up on. I posted on their page seeking a thorough explanation of why it is that not once on their website, is it detailed that they operate by delegating order fulfillment to local bakeries. They conveniently say they have locations in some 20+ cities across India.
The call center agent even had the audacity to tell me the rate charged is for their value added service. What additional service did they provide me? None. I'll be honest, the cake was decent. However, that is the work of Just Bake, and CakeStudio had nothing to do with it. Yet they conveniently looted me of Rs. 200/kg.
I request you to please look into the matter.
