We had applied for a new connection to our premises at Flat-1, 2nd Floor, Millennium Apartments, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Road, Palta, West Bengal-743122 somewhere in April, 2016. On our application (submitted online) we promptly received an offer letter dated 19/04/2016 (ref-MR no-16/05438/16) for a load of 1 KW (Domestic).
After a few days we received a call by which we were advised that there was a technical defect in the offer and a fresh offer letter was sent to us promptly again dated 23/04/2016 (MA Bill-16/05438/16/3/2) for a load of 0.5 KW(Domestic) with other annexures. We were advised to carry out necessary installations as was evident in one of the annexure in red. After carrying out necessary installations/alterations, we finally deposited the offer amount of Rs. 2, 710.00 on 20/05/2016. The deposit was made online vide ref number [protected]. The necessary annexures were also submitted at CESC office at Kamarhati on 21/06/2016. The same was informed by e-mail on 10/07/2016 .
After the above, we have been waiting indefinitely to hear about the progress on the case. It is more than 4 months that we have deposited the requisite amount and also have carried out necessary installations/alterations at our premises. But it seems CESC after making promises of addressing consumer concerns at the earliest also loves to sit on applications and in our case monetary remittances as well. This is unexpected of CESC and we are disgusted at the callous attitude of the operating staff.
