Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation [CESC] — double bill payment for february, 2019 | |
My customer id is [protected]. I am receiving e-bill from you on monthly basis and making payment using debit card. The bill of february, 2019 was paid by me on march 18, 2019 by the same process (The due date was march 19, 2019). Usually an e-mail acknowledgement is made instantly By cesc and a transaction reference is also generated. However, on that particular occasion that did not happen although message was received from my bank that transaction has taken place successfully.in the next bill a cumulative amount was charged along with disconnection Notice and payment was made well within due date. However, on that occasion both e-mail acknowledgement and transaction reference were made available. I have experienced similar situation earlier too. But during that period the amount deducted was refunded to my bank account. However, that did not happen for the transaction dated 18th march, 2019.in view of the above, i hereby request you to look into the matter / check with your bill desk gateway and take immediate necessary action to refund the paid amount of rs 1550.00 with interest or adjust it against the current month's bill.
