[Resolved]  Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation [CESC] — Excess Bill, Mysterious Problem

Sir/Madam, we live in an apartment in Kolkata which is under Cesc, our flat is in 1st floor, and there are seven residents flat in this apartment. So, there are two types of bill we get: one bill we get is pump-water supply and stairways light bill and the bill is named after the owner of the land Mr: XXXX, our apartment is built on his land, and the second bill is the bill of our electricity of our own each other's home which we all get separately by cesc.

So, these last few months we are seeing that our own flat's bill is like above rs. 2000 even during winter, and it's really funny we don't have a/c, and in summer we get rs. 3000. The staff of cesc behaved extremely rude with us when we discussed regarding this matter. Whereas our other's flat residents of our apartment get rs. 300 in winter and rs. 800 in Summer.

Anyway, something mysterious happened these last 4 months, we noticed that we are not getting any pump bills, cesc said that pump bills already paid when nobody did.

Anyway, it feels that our whole apartment's pump every resident's including us apartment's water pump connection is in ground floor down stairs next to the meter boxes of our each residents.

So, i feel a few of our apartments residents including a e cesc staff was into it has somehow merged our apartments electricity with the water pump supply and because of that we are getting high bill and our apartments water pump supply which is named after Mr XXX getting no bills, already paid.

Sorry for writing in this way, we are feeling unsafe so that's why wrote it in a horrible english internationally, please try to figure out, It's a request to Govt Of India and CESC.

RESOLVED: I apologise If I caused inconveniences by writing this post, Sorry for accusing my residents and those CESC staffs, if you get rs. 3000 bill when you don't use any ac, when you use electric appliances often, yet you still get rs 3000 in summer and rs 2000 in winter, yet other residents of your apartment have ac and get low amount bills Summer and Winter, anyone would get mad, it's happening since last 12 to 13 years. So, I thought everything has a limit, but I realised I should not accuse anyone without any valid proof and I don't have any proof or evidence, so I marked this complaint as resolved, and Cesc said they would charge low amount, so I marked this as resolved. Sorry :(

Last 12 years we are getting high bills in summer and winter even when we don't have ac.
Now, Last 7-8 months, summer bill was around Rs 3000 and last 4 months, winter bills was around Rs 2000.
Since 3 to 4 months, we're not getting any water pump bills, saying we already paid when nobody did.

That's why I made this post here, I am extremely sorry for causing inconveniences, Sorry for accusing my fellow residents/neighbours of my apartment and I am Sorry for accusing Cesc staff, I am extremely sorry for accusing anyone without any proof or evidence, Please forgive me. I beg your pardon.
Have mercy on me and forgive me.

Now, Kindly requesting Cesc to Ignore this dumb post, ok, see ya.

Please tell me what I do now. From the beginning to the end, I have applied as your representative has said. The first time he said that the name should be changed, it was done. The second time they said the size and space of the meter room, it was done. Seeing everything for the third time, inspector said, "Okay." I applied and the answer came 'many applications have been made so it was rejected'. What else do I need to do to change the meter now? And how to solve the matter.
