This is a complaint to CESC in regards to OVER-BILLING.
My Consumer ID is [protected] against which I have received a bill of INR 8970 for the month of Jun’ 20...THIS IS ABSURD...If you revisit my old bills for the last 2 years, or even more there has NOT been a single month where the bill has ever exceeded INR 3000.
I have the same set of electrical appliances (2 AC machines, 1 Washing machine and 1 Refrigerator) since the last 8 years now.
Even the fact that such high bill is to compensate the average billing for the lockdown period is RIDICULOUS.
Such over charge needs to be strongly dealt with so that it doesn’t repeat again...Consumers like us are NOT to-be taken for granted.
Would request to please re-work on my bill and allow me to pay a logical amount.
