I had requested an installation of fourth HD box with recording facility at my house on 17th August 2015. I was told that the box costs 7000 rupees plus if I wish to install a device four 500 extra rupees to have all four boxes connected together without cables. I agreed to same. Later same day I was told that due to unavailabilty of wireless device same day, the box will be installed on 18th. On 18th there was no one to install and when contacted the person didnot pick the phone. Later at 8.30 pm on 18th the person called and said he was ready to install and he was told to attend on 19th Morning. On 19th he came without the wireless device and said he was not aware of such request and said that he will need to fix an extra disc because there were already three connections on the existing disc. Anyways after fixing the disc etc he completed the job by around 1.30 PM and told me that the TV will be operational within an hour if not then to contact the mentioned mobile numbers. After more than an hour when I contacted the person incharge that the Tata sky was still not activated he asked me to wait fr a while. Later he called me to tell me that the newly installed box was obsolete and it has to be changed with a new one that would cost 9300 rupees, 2300 more that what was told to me. My question is, how come the newly installed box became obsolete within two hours? I request all the four boxes to be disconnected with immediate effect. I am not happy with the service and attitude and various replies given to me. Was this information helpful? | |||
