[Resolved]  CESC (Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation) — High electricity bill for April 2014 due to wrong meter reading data

Sir, With reference to bill no [protected] for the month April 2014, the reading date being[protected], our electricity meter (no. 3715888) reading has been mistakenly written as previous reading 8219 to present reading 8815, while as on[protected] the meter reading stands at 8397.That means the previous reading is mistakenly written as 8815 instead of something else.As a result the bill amount came to be Rs.4820/-.Therefore, I would request you to kindly look into the matter urgently so that the mistake is rectified as early as possible. This is also for your information I dialled the number given on the bill for any bill related issue (Ms Subhra Chatterjee, Commercial Executive at (+91)[protected] between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm several times.I regret saying that the person did not bother to pick up the phone call.
