i am COLONEL A BANERJEE residing in house address 12/1, BHATTACHARJEE PARA LANE, KOLKATA- 700036. I stay on the first floor while the ground floor is locked and vacant since past 6 years.I have separate meter for both the floors.Till SEPTEMBER 2014 I was paying the desired minimum bill as metered by CESC for the ground floor. The details can be checked from records. But the bill of OCTOBER 2014 shows the amount to be paid as Rs 1040 with due date as 25/11/2024. My CONSUMER NO. [protected], and CUSTOMER ID [protected]. The bill no. is [protected]. From 0 Units it has jumped to 172 units which is incorrect and needs clarification. Kindly solve the issue at the earliest please.

Dear Sir,
From your above bill it appears that your meter inspector has wrongly noted the reading as 3994 instead of 3924. Since we were present during meter reading we too noted the reading. The aftermath is a huge billing having higher rated billing for the extra units noted wrongly. Please look into the matter and help us to get justice.
