Citibank — Change is Placed on a Lost/Blocked Credit card | |||
One Year Back I had enrolled for a Citi bank Titanium Credit card (Basic Credit card) . As per the policy or agreement, If I make the shopping for 30K per yr, then there will be no annual charge on me . IF I can not meet then there will be a change of 1k per yr with taxes . But Unfortunately I had lost the card without using the card for a single time, So I have blocked it . Its Quite trivial, if a card is blocked No body can make a transaction . But surprise to see that after 1yr I got a bill . And in the bill they have placed the annual changes with taxes . When I have inquired about it, they are coming back with a reply that the card was Blocked not closed . But I simply believe that they want me to make me fool on technical works . Its Quite Obvious that, once a card is blocked you cannot make the purchase So as the target set can not be meet .and the said bill (annual charges + taxes) you have provided on a blocked card, which dont exist at all . And again, If the card got blocked, why the bank has not taken the step to provide me another replacement card . Without Helping to customer, they are harassing . So I dont expect such behavior from the Global Bank Citi . Who make money by, making fool to the customer . I have attached there reply . you guys can have a check on it .
