[Resolved] Citibank — CitiBank collection department worked in a negligent manner . | |||
Sir, Re :- CItiBank Credit Card No. [protected] Your reference no.[protected] Please note that the above matter was highlighted by Citibank through SMS on 21st October, 2013. The cheque was not received by them and I was advised to call on[protected] Collection Department of CitiBank). This is second time when we are facing terrible problem with your bank. We faced the same problem in the month of July and now again. I dropped the State Bank of India checque no 357026 dated 01/10/2013 at Vaishali ( Ghaziabad ) sector 4 on 3rd October, 2013. and the phone number from which I got the sms was[protected] on 21/10/2013. I called the same number at least ten times but could not get response. There was only a voice message saying that “your card is invalid” (The phone service which is provided by CItiBank is worst). However, again I called the customer care center and talked with your executive Ms. AnuKriti, and informed the matter with details and got the request / reference no. 81310 on 22/10/2013. she also gave two other numbers to contact the collection center. I called again and talked to Ms. Eila and received the reference no.[protected] dated 22/10/2013. As per our conversation they were supposed to collect the cheque by 23/10/2013 but the collection boy came on 28/10/2013 and collected the cheques on 28/10/2013 under receipt nos. 607274 & 607275. I am surprised by the way of working of the Collection Department. After several follow up with Citibank., I finally got the call from CitiBank on 26/10/2013 regarding cheque collection after five days and the cheque was finally collected on 28/10/2013. Yesterday, I again received a call from your bank and spoke with Ms. Kushal that “the late payment charges would not be wavied off “ under reference no.[protected]. Now I bring to your kind attention that the problem is at your side. Your collection staff is not working properly, you can see that I called on 22/10/2013 regarding collection of cheque and the cheque was collected after five days. Till date I have not send any request for “payment stop” in SBI against the cheque no. 357026 because if I do that I will have to pay charges to SBI and on the other side you have misplaced any cheque. I have lost both sides. Who is going to be liable for the negligence of your collection department and the misplacing of the cheque. This is not the first time, I had to face the same problem in the month of July, 2013. It is really terrible. Your bank is not able to take care properly or there is some problem with the drop box. Please check and expedite. I will not pay the late payment fee because your collection department worked in a negligent manner and created problem which right now I am facing . At your end, it is your duty to see why the same is happening again. who will see this ? I am your customer, it is your duty to satisfy us. Please expedite.
