Citibank — Refusal for one time payment request | |||
Dear officer, My card number is [protected]. Against my outstanding balance for last month i made a payment of 1 lac by cheques (Acknowledged by bank on[protected]. This amount of 1 lac was debited from my account on 02-05-17... I. E. Going by the banking system... The money should have gone to citi bank at the same moment. Based on the message received from my bankers i made part payment (Of 25000) for booking airline ticket to uk through make my trip with the promise that the balance payment of 102000/- (Approx) will be made within next three days. Since the amount had not been allocated to my credit card till 12.00 pm today, i called up citiphone banking and spoke with manisha and had heated arguments as my money is already with citi bank. She said she will put in a request for one time approval. Since i did not get any message i called up citi bank again after approx one hour and spoke with mukul... He also promised to put in request for one time time approval. After 15 minutes i received a message saying that my request has been declined. Under the circumstances... I would like to know the reason for declining the request, since my money has already been received by citibank and in case the permission is not given i stand to loose 25000/-. Citibank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. May 02, 2017 mariedon's response I ay have a refund from being enrolled in Credit Protector Program
