Dear Sir, I stay in a co-operative society. Want to know my rights as a member of society as the chairman and secretary makes difficult rules which have no relevance and create lot of discomfort. I am of 84 Years Age and unable to look after the day to day affair of the society. I would like to give my Power of Attorney along with my will in favor of my only son to take part in the society matters. Chairman and secretary says that only members can interfere in society matter. But as I told that I am of 84 yrs age and not in position to safe guard my interest in the society.
I did tried to discuss with them but they are adamant. please guide how can i fight this out as I have paid for use of common amenities and also am paying maintenance on regular basis. Kindly give me under which clause/bye laws I can appoint my son to take part in society's day to day activities.
rgds..
