DO'NT CHARGED ME AGAIN & DEACTIVATE MY SERVICE.

I am your valuable customer since two year

1. My no is closed 19.6.09 without any information. Why?
2. I Submitted my paper 19.6.09
3. but till date my number is not in running
4. in the feture pls not that my number do not close without any information

I went to Cehnnai on 5th and lost the mobile but still the mobile is existing, but they are not responding, please let us know if they have made any calls from this number.     Airtel is providing postpaid connection for corporates.On April 2nd week One guy who had Air tel tags of this mobile number [protected] came to office on my request with aiirtel and he collected 3 photos, pan card, passport copy, After that he told my existing number will get changed to postpaid onlyt after verification.he has given a kit i thatr he told by may 4th things will be ok and he took 300 rupeees from me.
    2 months over no result..how can i believe this asirtel guys?
    I am very sorry to written all these but after having so much difficulties i want to lodge a complaint against my post paid connection. After paying the bill of 2 months, you are not ready to activate my very old connection ([protected]) which is so much oldest connection. I dnt know y u people nt understand my problems after disconnection we are facing so much problems. Please this is my humble request to you kindly actvate it. I'll be very grateful to you.

      I am having Airtel post paid connection with data and fax service facility

      MyAirtel post paid number is working properly with Vsnl Dialup number 172226 in chennai but my airtel post paid connection is not working with Vsnl dialup number 172226 is in Maharashtra

      Error Displaying: PHONE NUMBER NOT VALID

      Vsnl number 172226 is enabled all over India but your Airtel network is not supporting in Maharashtra &
      Gujarat.

      Maharashtra is in INDIA only why it is not working

      please enable Digital number facility in all your Airtel Towers in Maharashtra & Gujarat
      every month I have to face problem that my cell no.[protected] bill not reach at my address, so I request that send my bill at my e-mail address

          I have not subscribed for the "Thoughts for the day" fro 290603. Still I have started getting daily messages with the topic from the number. No response so far from Airtel. Please get the number 290603 blocked. I do not want to see any messages from the number. Besides this a refund of all the charges which have been debited by Airtel.

          Airtel — unwanted duduction of balance amount from prepaid balance by simple messages

          From my cell number [protected], today 5/4/2009 my balance was RS 498 in the morning and it has come down to Rs 0.39 by 7am with out doing anything. some messages like u have downloaded so and so...and amount is simply deducting with out any down loading. already complainted to customer care chennai and no action is taken so far. request ur kind attention to do the needful immediately and refund back the amount and stop all such messages immediately.

          There is a new twist from today. Airtel has started sending "Love Tips" from their number 290603.

          With today's unsolicited VAS charge of Rs.3/- the Airtel robbery into my account has risen to Rs.12/-

          Airtel Prepaid — Unwanted messages from 290603 deducts Rs 3 daily

          I am getting daily messages from 290603 which deducts Rs 3 daily from my card. This has been happening from past 5 days and I have also sent an email to [protected]@airtelindia.com but as of now its not resolved. I have never subscribed to any of these services. I am also registered in Do not call registry. Please get this stoppped ASAP this is damm irritating.
          Thought of the day has stopped but love tips now started.

          I have the same problem!! I was using the prepay no. for last 8 years and everyone was having this no.

          It has got more than Rs 500 balance when I was gone abroad in march 2009 and I didn't use it for about 2 months and after coming back in june 2009 when I used it ... it says unregistered sim. I spoke to airtel customer service they said go to airtel showroom. When I went to airtel showroom they said this no. was not in use thats why it has been recycled.

          I said why didn't you send me any notification about this and moreover it has got balance in it, how you can recycle it and they simply said we can't do anything about it. I said I will pay your fees to reactivate it becuase this no. is very important to me. but they said in a very rude manner we have told you that this no. is now for resale.

          Then I said I will sue you becuase this is just a fraud Airtel is cheating the customers. They are stealing their money and customer service is also so rude.

          If someone can help please do.
          I almost thought that the irritating and expensive messages from 290603 has stopped.

          I am wrong.

          Today it changed back to “Thoughts for the day” and the timing changed to 8:30 night.

          Another Rs. 3/- deduction.

          Total loss now stands at Rs. 15/-, courtesy Airtel.

          Please give some consideration for an old retired person.

          Stop Sending the stupid messages. Knowing the tricks Airtel employs, I had already put my phone in the NDNC registry. Inspite of this the unsolicited messages continue.

          A guy facing identical problem was told to send a message STOP to 121 by Airtel. Even I have done the same. The reply I have received is that there are no Active Services on My Airtel Number. Go figure!! (ChorTEL Scam)

          Looks like complaining to the Nodal Officer is the only way out for now. Check up the nodal officer's details for your area on the airtel website.

          I'm also facing the same issue since last 3 days. I have been calling the customer care daily and they say that its now de-activated and I wont get the SMS again. But the problem continues with 2 SMS per day. TRAI should cancel license of such farudulant carrier. Here is text from TRAI web page

          After I sent a mail to Airtel nodal officer and cc to TRAI emails, the scam seems to have stopped [at least I did not get any SMS in last 34 hours]. You can find email address of nodal officer here.

          Airtel Mobile — Fraud -prepaid no cancelled without my knowledge

          i am having airtel prepaid no. [protected]. i kept for frequent use of this no. previously it is postpaid no i converted in to prepaid and with 999 voucher made lifetime prepaid.

          but in last month i try to use this no. its show sim registration failed . i enquired about this to helpline they told this no is cancelled and then removed from our prepaid database and given to fresh selling. now you wont get this no. reason is "non usage of 90 days".

          but my question is why the did not tell about this. because they have my residence no all my contact details. and without confirming with me how they can cancelled this no and then given to fresh selling.

          i mailed to nodal office they also answering same that you wont get this no becuase of removal from database.

          while giving this no airtel taking all my legal contact document. why they did not use for contact me. also for the lifetime use i recharge 999 voucher. now this money is waste.

          this is really fraud becuase a number alloted to a customer. while cancelling this number airtel do no considered concern of the alloted customer.

          i need my number back. please help me.

          Hello I also have being conned by Airtel I also receive love tips where as i have not subscribed for it . Infact my number was not working and still these messeges where coming and charging me 3 Rs . when i called 121 they say no VAS is activated on my number . Airtel stop fooling and robbing people .           I am receiving this unwanted SMS from 290603 for which 3 Rs are deducted. I started getting it around 10 days back around 2 to 3 message daily. This is ridiculous and annoying.

          I am also being cheated by airtel in the form of sms service as "thought of the day" from 290603 without my intimation and consent. i have been duped of around Rs 100 in last few days.           Lots of Airtel prepaid customers are facing the problem of getting “Value Added Service from 290603” subscribed without their consent. Once a user receives a message “thought of the day” from 290603 there is deduction of Rs.3/- per SMS. Every day each user gets 4 SMS. Worst part is such SMS are delivered during mid night 2:00AM, 4:00AM (proof can be provided on request).
          It is a real hard work to get rid of this problem by contacting Airtel customer care. Apart from this it is harder to get refund back.
          Many called this as SCAM. This started in June 09 and again in Aug 09.
          It appears to be joint scam between Airtel and the service provider of VAS 290603 to boost their revenues. Most people would not be even aware of this deduction, so they are basically robbing ignorant customers. It appears a lot of other customers are also facing this problem but not many are raising this issue as this time consuming. Airtel customer service is poor and they seem intent on cheating the customers. As of today there is no way to contact customer person using 121. So one has no choice but live with deduction.
          Airtel has about 100 million GSM subscribers today, 4-SMS per dayRs.3/- for a single subscriber may not be much, but for 100 million subscribers a day it is 4xRs.300 million a day – one of the biggest scams going on today, but no one writes about it.

          Yes, I have been facing the same problem with Airtel for the last 3 months. Hundreds of calls to Airtel have got me nowhere. It's obvious this is a SCAM.

          I suggest someone write to the Economic Times and all the newspapers that cater to share market information, letting share market investors and traders know that this is a shady company (like ENRON) trying to inflate revenues by fraudulent means. I suspect that crores of subscribers are being charged this way by Airtel, and this is downright FRAUD.

          The SEBI also needs to know about this. Airtel company officials should be made to answer to TRAI and the SEBI and government regulators about this.

          Imagine if they are doing this to 1 crore subscribers, 4 times a day. That is Rs. 12 crores revenue per day by SCAMMING the innocent users like us who are getting nowhere with this. Airtel refuses to even admit this is a problem. Each person is being told that he/she MUST have subscribed to this service!

          I too have the 290603 problem, this is nothing more than a scam by Airtel to get your hard earned cash. The simple solution is to let your sim card run out and change phone companies I am sure another company will welcome you as a customer. We do not have to suck up to SCUM BAG companies like Airtel. Tell them to stick their serviice into a place that the sun never shines.

          I am having a base model of Nokia bearing no.[protected] but I have been automatically subscribed to Thought for the day service from 290603 Airtel Prepaid service. I am being debited by Rs.3/- every 30 minutes and thus I have lost Rs.333/- of my balance.

          I don't want any more messages from the above service and I need it to be blocked so that I do not loose any more money.

          If you are facing the problem of getting unwanted VAS from 2906030 please dial at the Airtel customer care number 121 then for information in english press 3 then press 29 there will be technical support you have to give them the details of your mobile number and your name thereafter they deactivate the services for you.           I have not subscribed for the "JOKES" from my phone.

          May be my small neice have accidentely subscribed for that service through Airtel Live.Well that is just a posssibility but I am not sure of this.

          Since I never wanted that service I unscribed it by sending the neccessary SMS to 55382.

          After some time I recieved SMS back which said "Invalid Request .You are not Subscribed for jokes".

          Now since I already had doubt that may be it was due to some error with airtel system, to ensure the same I called your customer care service.

          Two things disoppointed me a lot.

          1.I was not at all happy be the executive which I spoke and felt very insulted by the way he spoke to me.His behavior was very rude and he had some kind of 'don't care' attitude.Even after 24 hours I feel upset when I remember the convesation.

          The Airtel customer support is hopeless n keep toggling about the result. I'm raising the same complaint from May 09 still the problem is not solved. & Every month the charges gets added in my bill.
          The regional officers are useless. Mr Parriera, Mr Satyjieet are the senior persons but nobody got the solution.
          The receipt of these SMS is so irritating that I'm going to swithcover the service.

          1. after recharging with rs. 94 when i started surfing within 8am they deducted all my balances but it should be within 1gb free. it happened thrice. amade several complaints and their gprs help desk (id[protected] etc ) after thorough review also agreed that my main balance was wrongly deducted due to some unknown reason and it wont happen now onwards but they have no way to refund my money back. they now blocked my 121 line. when i mail at [protected]@airtel.in got the same one way official reply stating that they made all deduction correctly. Now how can i get my money back or get full statement o[censored]sages.

          2. Today itself i recharged successfully for 100 sms and balance enquiry shows about 100 sms. But when i sent sms all the charges were deducted from my main balance of around rs.70. lodged complaint and they replied '' Please be informed that due to blackout days from dated 31/12/09, 12 AM to 01/01/2010 12:59 PM the SMS boosters and free SMS are not applicable and the local SMS will be charged Re.1/- as per your tariff.'' now how a customer will know airtel is changing their plans for some few hours (may be just to collect some extra money)!

          I should not expect any refund from a corporate robber. is there any other solution.

          Airtel Prepaid — Charged again for unwanted subscription

          Not sure if Airtel is in need of money that it is stealing from its customers or if it the area manager trying to attain some target...

          As with lakhs and lakhs of innocent customers, Airtel subscribed my 62 yr old aunty for all kind of paid subscriptions for the 3rd or 4th time and sent a note (SMS) saying "Thank you for subscribing" as if she subscribed to the so called value added service!!!

          I'd contacted customer care couple of times for this particular line and got all subscriptions cancelled, registered in "Do not Disturb" a month a half back and again today she is charged Rs 30 for radio service which she didn't subscribe for.

          I've had similar issue with the other 8 lines that I, my mother, father, two of my aunties and uncles use and I've contacted Airtel so many times that I would have wasted 48 hours of my life just with Airtel customer care!

          Seriously thinking of moving away from Airtel as it seems to be run by a gang of thieves (atleast in my zone)...

          Though I let Airtel steal our money in earlier cases, NOW I WANT MY 30Rs BACK.

          Hope Govt makes it a law that no cell phone service provider can enroll its customer to paid services automatically and start charging them. Service providers should be punished for such malpractices mentioned above.

          Occasionally they do send some message in English with some information on cancelling the service, but it is INDIA, not everyone knows to read ENGLISH, especially the old people. And ofcourse, in some cases, the cancelling procedure given in the SMS doesn't work... not surprised at all.

          Airtel — Robbery of money and non-refund of prepaid charges

          Dear Dignitiaries,

          My niece Rajashree Ganesh had the misfortune of subscribing to your prepaid mobile services through your authorised representative Bhavana Televentures having office near Citibank ATM, Opp Andheri Busstop Mulund(W) Mumbai on 29-01-10. She paid cash of Rs 249/- for a lifetime prepaid and was issued receipt no 843. The number alloted to her was [protected].

          The card was immediately activated within 24 hours on 30-01-10. She was informed by your authorised representative that a verification call would be placed at the residence telephone no given by her viz[protected]. No verification call was placed uptil 2nd February, 2010. On 3rd February 2010 my niece and her parents travelled out of station to Udaipur due to which the residence was locked. On 8th Feb 2010 my niece made a refill of Rs 120 in the morning at around 14:00 hrs. At around 15:00 hours the mobile number alloted was deactivated. Upon enquiring with your representative Bhavana Televentures she was informed that the number was deactivated since telephonic verification was negative and that the amount of Rs 249 & the refill of Rs 120 would be forfieted.

          The basic issue here is how is the number activated before the telephonic verification is completed and how can it be deactivated without actually doing a verification given that the family members of the subscriber are out of station and cannot be reached at the residential telephone numbers. This kind of service of looting subscribers and forfeiting their hard earned money is third grade and deserves to be punished and stopped.

          My niece shared the phone number with various friends/colleagues and by this callous act on your part she is now without a phone number.

          I demand an immediate explanation and compensation for this pathetic and lousy service carrying the brand name of Mr Sunil Bharti Mittal. It is a shame on your part. Would also request you to check out which fools and are manning the Mulund West centre of yours. I had the opportunity of visiting that place for lodging my complaint but after seeing the numerous people who had complaints there I felt that visiting a fish market would have been less stressful.

          By all this I as well as my niece have been subjected to mental torture, embarassment and damage to our reputation and we demand an immediate refund of Rs 369/- and an adequate amount as compensation for mental torture and embarassment faced.

          I am sending a copy of this complaint to your competitors and would also publish this in the newspapers if I do not get a response within 12 hours.

          What the hell. I never subscribed. But still I sent sms with UNSUB SAMACHAR to 58888 and I was charged 3 rs for the sms. So total 4 rs lost for the smses 1=subscribe 3=unsubscribe

          Now i called 121>5>1 they said i will be charged 50paise per 3 minute to talk to customer rep. So I decided to avoid it. They take 15 minutes approx.

          Dear Sir,
          I am an Airtel Post Paid customer, since Dec 2007.
          I receive my bill online, hence have shared my personal email address with Airtel.
          Since last few months I have been receiving messages from Airtel for their DTH connection.
          Is this not unfair for a consumer, as the company is using my personal email address to cross sell their product.I had never asked/ confirmed with Airtel regarding their promotional messages. Is this not breach of trust as Airtel is using the information it has in its database, without my consent ? This is the case with millions of consumer who utilize the services of Airtel ?
          I am sure this is not an isolated case and many like me, who have share their personal email adress with Airtel are bearing the burnt of this unethical business practice from Airtel.
          What if Airtel share our personal mobile numbers or email address with third party for financial gains ?
          Though Airtel provide an unsubscribe link, the email address mentioned in the mail communication id non functional. I have raised this issue with Airtel, but still I get DTH promotional mail communication.

You have been charged Rs 15 for..... event." and Rs 15 is being deducted from my balance.           It is to inform anyone from airtel so called " SCAMTEL" that

          i have got three airtel numbers and this ScamTel is been robbing me for more than last three years . once i activated GPRS service on my mobile number [protected] for one onth and then i sent a msg to stop it . i have got the msg that " my service has been stopped and i wont be charged Rs 299 anymore", then one month past with any trouble and then the next month i was charged Rs 299 for GPRS, this thing didnt stop for like 5-6 months and in the mean time i called customer care so many time and they said " Sir we didnt start this service, you must have sent any msg from your side". finally when i told them that i am gonna sue ur LAME company., they finally refunded my amount which was near about 1500.
          Now for few months first they charged me Rs 1 per day for more than one month and when i got to know that i have been robbed again by this Bull Company, i called customer care( which is now paid service i[censored] call in) i was charged rs 3 for that custoer care call And i was refunded Rs 6.
          Then again After 10-15 days this HEAD COMPANY again put some cricket alert on all my three cell numbers ( [protected], [protected], [protected] ) And start to robbing me again . When i called customer care I was charged some money and got refund for last 72 hrs charges.
          Now the latest one ---- i got to know on 6th January that this SCUM BAG COMPANY has put some RANBIR KAPOOR PACK on my number [protected] and has been roobing my rs 1 per day since the Dec 19 2010 and when i called in the customer care, these HEADS refunded me ONLY RS 3 .

          AND yeah not to mention that have been registered at NDNC .

          For which, whenever we recharge/topped up, the balance goes off automatically without even using if for calling. When we called the customer care, they are saying you have been subscribed for news, jokes etc, which we never asked for. And then they unsubscribed us.

          After recharing next time, the same cheating continues. Its a never ending problem. I think, most of the prepaid users might be facing this problem.

          Request you to warn AIRTEL for its day robbery. Its SHAME for them, for thier SHAMEFUL activities like these.

          Since 24th June, 2011 Air tel is debiting Rs.1.50 daily to my account towards subscription for Movie and Lifestyle which I never subscribed to. My Mobile No. is [protected]. I want the company to refund my account immediately with the amount already debited.

          The airtel has activated subscription and deducted Rs 5 for an service we never asked for. They repeatedly do this and deduct amount. We have complained this to the airtel customer call center but no action has been taken yet.

          For last two days, Airtel has been charging me Rs 5/- everyday for some video parlour service which I never subscribed myself.           I am doctor by profession and work for the World Health Organization .My home town is gwalior , i came to gwalior on 7-5-2012 and purchased a 3G dongle with data connection scheme for Rs2390 from City Centre office , gwalior . I was told it will get activated in 2 hours and it didnot worked , i asked my dad to follow up and still nothing happened , he went many times to airtel office i had to leave to jaipur later and that was the purpose i took it so that i will be connected on the move. It didnot work at all. I came to gwalior on 12 and complaint again and again and went personally 4-5 times , they told its a technical problem and when asked to return money told they cant , its my bad luck.

            I am really dissappointed with Airtel. I am using Airtel Friend's sim card since last 5 years. I am using this card since my college days. Now I am working in a MNC. Though I get many cheap and attractive Corporate Plans from many operators in my company, I never changed my sim card because I wanted my phone number and Friends Plan to stay continued. But, today I feel like changing my plan.
            Usually, I recharge my mobile with Rs.120, Rs.75 and Rs.60 vouchers. Today, I recharged my mobile with Rs.75 from Internet Banking and I found that my Airtel Friends Plan has changed to Normal Airtel Plan. I called up customer care and I was told that Rs. 75 wala recharge has changed my plan. The person from customer care gently said me that- "This change in Rs.75 recharge has taken place 8 days back and you should be knowing this." Now how would I know this without any intimation from Airtel? When I told him that I m doing this recharge since last many years and how can this change be done so suddenly, he suggested me that from next time, before doing recharge, I should call up the customer care to confirm about what recharge I am doing every time. He told me that now my plan cannot be changed back to my previous plan.
            How can Airtel make such changes suddenly without any intimation to the customer? Or are these tactics used to kick out their Airtel Friend's customers?
            I want to get my previous plan back or now I will switch onto some other operator. I know this wont make any difference to the Airtel, but I dont want to be with such a operator who are so irresponsible to their customers. And in addition to this, switching onto other operation will atleast give me some intelligent custormer care where I will get correct information everytime I call them. As far as my experience, Airtel has summoned the team of most irresponsible and fool customer care executives who dont have any proper and correct information to give to their customers. And on the top, they charge the customer 50 Paise/3 minutes for talking with their stupid customer care executives.

            Please suggest me what can I do now?

              I am an employee of Infosys Technologies Ltd. and I had been using a corporate Airtel
              Connection for past one year that I bought from the Airtel Salesman who sits in my
              office building only.

              Now, my number has been disconnected permanently. On contacting the customer care and the Airtel Gallery at Aundh, Pune, I was informed that mine was a case of "Fraud Customer" and my number was being used to run an STD booth.
              I dropped several mails to "[protected]@airtelindia.com" to provide me the evidence for all this crap but did not get any proper response from them. In reply to one of the mails, they said that there is a document verification problem.
              I do not understand the sarcasm that on one hand they are labelling me a fraud customer who is running an STD booth and on the other they call it a document verification problem. Had it been a document verification prob, why was it that my no. was never disconnected within 7 days when i had bought it.
              I even contacted one of the Airtel managers, Mr.Sagar Pradhan, but even he did not get back to me.


              Just because my number was disconnected, I have not been able to talk to my parents
              and other family members who are in Rajasthan and all other people I am connected to.
              My number was associated with the ICICI bank for all the alerts and notifications
              which I am not getting now. My important communications with my Clients and Colleagues
              are being hampered thus affecting business.


              I want Airtel to immediately resume my services and reactivate my number and apologise for making such indecent and insulting statements for permanent customers. Airtel should pay a heavy penalty for all the inconvinience caused to me for past 20 days and also labelling me a "Fraud Customer" without any justifiable reasons and relevent proofs/evidence.

                i have two airtel lines one is post paid and other one prepaid, for the post paid i activated the Dialer tone when i try to disable the caller tone i was not able to disable it. it asks me to follow the instruction whatever the way i do i was not able to deactivate the caller when i call the customer support they are giving the same option thro IVR to deavtivate the caller tone which 100% use less.. when i said her i did it already she was very rude n hung up the call..

                now about my prepaid card i called the customer support to know the tariff details the reply from the customer support is send and SMS to a nuber to get the info and hung up the call.. what the hell those people are doing there.. Airtel they are money suckers. only reason for ppl to use airtel they gave the numbers to their clients else airtel will be out of the world long back

The begger is too poor. so please many of them give some amount 5 paise or 10 paise like that.

                    Concerned authoriities are hereby requested to look in the matter, Require urgent revert and credit the Re.3/- to my balance if such thing will continue i have to proper action in the matter.

From the 13th june 2009 onwards Rs 3 is deducted every day from my prepaid account towards THOUGHT FOR THE DAY as vas . but i have never asked for this service, A complaint wae already registered at POOJA TELECOM.                         To whomsoever it may concern.

                        I, Malcolm, ([protected]) had lost my sim card and immediately had ordered airtel to block my card. they did the same. subsequently, i aquired a duplicate sim card from the airtel gallery in mulund, mumbai. they had assured me that my sim would be activated in 24 hours. i have lost a count of the number of hours past since i got my duplicate sim card. but yet it has not been activated. after several calls to the customer care, i havent got a proper solution. they are asking me to go to the mulund centre again to seek clarification. i want the airtel people to know that i am not sitting here just to visit your centres now and then. i have loads of other important work.i would ask you to look in to this matter at the earliest and come up with a logical and quick solution.

                          We have 2 Airtel prepaid connections. We had NOT subscribed to any VAS services on these numbers. A week ago we started getting 'Though for the Day' SMS messages and each one was charged at Rs 3.

                          I talked to 121 operator and as advised (with a lot of misleading stuff) to send an SMS to 52206 with a text UNS, assuring this will unsubscribe all such services - I did this for both numbers.

                          I also registered the same complaint thru email, and got an email reply asking me to send SMS to 121 with text STOP - I got an acknowledgement that there are no services subscribed to my number.

                          To day I get a different type of VAS (some Movie News to which I have not subsribed) and was charged Rs 3 again. I have again complained by email.

                          Our Mobile Numbers are[protected] and[protected]

                          As we have never subsribed to any services, this is obviously a cheap trick by Airtel to make money. I cannot imagine that a company with such a great number of subscribers will stoop to this level.

                          Airtel Prepaid — VAS charges

                          My balance is getting deducted for some Vas downloads and some alerts which I have never authorized.
                          Within last 2 months I have lost more than Rs. 200 due to this unauthorized deductions.

                              I would like to draw your attention regarding the fraud call which came to my airtel number. It was from Dubai and they said they are from international office of AIRTEL. Their number was [protected] and they informed about a lottery which I won worth 10 lakhs.The person tried to ask me my PNB account number and further my address.It was really shocking for me when the customer care executive of AIRTEL told me that there is no such office of AIRTEL in Dubai.

                              This is a shameful act done .I as user of AIRTEL request you to take some action against this so that in future this happens to nobody else

                              I have been using my Airtel Mob. no.[protected] for last 1 year under life time facilities ,even after taking tariff plans to changed my existing call rate no changes take place i have been complaining abt the same to airtel serv. centres call centres many times but no response received yet hence bearing financial losses

                              Dear sir,

                              An Airtel Executive (Name=Pradeep, phone number = [protected]) came to my office and told that there is a scheme under which National roaming will be Free between two CUG simcards applied by the same person.

                              I asked him "one sim card is going to be in Bangalore, and one is going be in Chennai (I reside in chennai). Will there be any roaming charges if calls are dialled between these two sim cards?"

                              I asked this question almost 15 times in a month whenever I observed the 'increasing bill' online. He kept on saying "No problem. there will be no roaming charges. It will not reflect in your actual bill."

                              Now the bill came including the rental charges. He is not attending the calls now. I have already filed a complaint in Airtel. But they told they cant do any justice to me (callcentre executive I spoke with is 'Ramani') .

                              Such hoax calls are being received regularly. They pretend to be fromAirtel Headquarters Dubai and will ask for Dish Tv IOTZ cards ranging from 9000/- to 9250/- stating that the subscriber has won Rs.10 lac prize and to release the lock they need the money.. I being a dealer of Dish tv advise all such persons to ignore the call and rather lodge the police complaint. Well Spread the message and in case it is possible to register police complaint, then pl. do it.

                              I know somebody from my contacts who has lost Rs. 40000 to these cheats. He was lured by a huge amount of Rs.10 Lacs. He paid Rs.8350 for some Platinum Card and then Rs. 20000 as Tax for releasing the money and another Rs. 13000 for some blaw blaw... These guys will tell you a new story all the time and will swear of their children that they have the amount lying with them which is ready to go in your account after you pay them the required money. They ask the payment to be made through the DISH tv ITZ cards. Surprisingly these cards are consumed within 10 minutes of reveal of the number of that card to these culprits. Since the calls are made from an international number, it is not possible to trace these people.
                              My sincere advice is to keep away from these people, they will show you a lot of money but you will get nothing but lose your hard earned money.
                              I had a missed call from some unknown number today.When I called back at this number, I came to that It was from Dubai and the caller said that he is calling from Dubai AIRTEL office. The number was [protected] and they informed about the lottery which I won worth 10 lakhs.The person asked me to give my account number so as to transfer money of Rs.10 lakhs.
                              He also said that around 135 Airtel number won this lottery.This call deducted Rupees 28 from my balance in mobile.When I called to Airtel Customer Care, they said there is no such office in Dubai.I was shocked that how someone got my airtel number and trying to hack my personal account number.

                              I requested the Airtel to take strict action against this number user mentioned above.As the company is such abig brand in India and there is no security check for the customers.
                              Also I got a fraud message once in my Inbox that is from TM-GUINNESS, the message is Congratulations!! your personal cell number have won a prize money of 700, 000.00 British Pounds for the Splash Promotion organised by Guinness Organistaion.                               I going to put up the case file against airtel telecommunication in consumer forums, i lost my 10, 000 Rs today and surprisingly the dish TV coupon i bought is useless within half an hour, How the hell these Pakistanis are making money from a Dish TV recharge coupon.These numbers are from Pakistan "+92" or "0092" is Pakistan's country code. I even called up so many times to the Airtel excutive officer but no one picked my phone.


                              I have already complained(FIR against airtel telecom) in the police station and tomorrow i am going to consumer forum and mailing a copy of FIR to various news channel as well as local news papers also . Airtel will pay for the ignorance to their customers. It's almost 100 days when the first comment is posted here and airtel is still sleeping.

                              I received a call from a no. [protected] at 10.20 AM on 05.12.2009. That time I couldnt pick up, seeing a new no., I called back. The person on the other hand introduced himself as some Mr. Ramesh from Airtel Headoffice mumbai and told me that I have won Rs. 25 Lakhs prize and also gave me a no. [protected] to contact one supervisor named Ram Singh for claiming the prize. I contacted on the no. but it was one lady from calcutta. Once again I called on the first no, this time he started his conversation with "Salam Walekum". I got suspicious and then I called customer care executive of airtel at 11:11 A.M and registered my complaint there. The Customer Care executive told me that if I got any call of this type, i should lodge a complaint to the Local Police as well. I request the telecommunication communication companies particularly Airtel to restrict these kind of fraud calls as it troubles the people a lot and it should not happen to anybody else further.
                              i got similar cal from a man called ravi verma who told me to cal vijay kumar sr supervisor [protected]. 25lacs is a joke but am sure mad at airtel and how they are letting phöney people disturb and spoil their customers peace on a sunday afternoon.                               I lost Rs. 5000 to these culprits. Was about to loose another Rs 10, 000 but all thanks to the shopkeeper who informed me about this fraud.
                              As soon as the shopkeeper told me i rushed to the police station and loged a complaint. The only thing that concerns me is the misuse of my voters id no. that i provided them as an identity proof. they are so convincing that you dont get to know anything and moreover they tell you to maintain full secrecy so that noone comes to know about your lottery. its bad.I've had a very bad experience and i hope that they get caught as soon as possible.
                              Its just a disgrace on how stupid we become by someone who is more stupid than us.
                              Airtel must take an action or else people will loose on their hard earned money to such convincing frauds.

The caller however said that he was from Dubai and I have won a prize of 25lac from airtel lucky draw. He gave me another number [protected] of Mr Raj Singhania, the senior supervisor out there and to collect the details where to recieve the money. However on my friends suggestion i called the airtel customer care where i was told to contact the airtel office nearby to validate the no. Then i searched for the country code of 92 and it was of Pakistan. Then I came of this website & i was saved although i lost 30 Rs of my balance for this stupid call.

                              I would like to draw your attention regarding the fraud call which came to my airtel number. It was from Dubai and they said they are from international office of AIRTEL. Their number was [protected] and they informed about a lottery which I won worth 80 lakhs.The person tried to ask me my account number and further my address.It was really shocking for me when the customer care executive of AIRTEL told me that there is no such office of AIRTEL in Dubai.

                              This is a shameful act done .I as user of AIRTEL request you to take some action against this so that in future this happens to nobody else

He asked me to call Mr. Sanjay Verma (as MD of Bharti Airtel ) and his number is [protected]. I called at the no. of Mr. Sanjay Verma. He told me that i have won Rs. 25 Lakhs asking me details of my account no. in which i want the amount. I told him the account no. and then he asked me the Identity Card no. I provided him with the same.
                              Then he provided me with the Lottery No. as 444000. and asked me to purchase DISHTV Vouchers worth Rs 15700, only those which Have SHARUKH KHAN Photo on it, and saying that i have to give him the voucher No. right now on the phone Call. I Refused that its not possible for me to give you the no. right now and it will take me half and hour.

                              Then he asked me to switch off my Phone for half an hour and donot disclose this matter to anyone because of secrecy.

                              I called up the Customer Care of Airtel and asked them whether such gifts are really being given to customers. They refused and said these are Fake calls Coming from Pakistan and Dubai.

                              Then again i got a call from the Number saying that you talked to Mr Sanjay Verma and he asked you to switch off your phone and then I screwed him up over the phone.

                              I have blocked my debit card of the same account no. and also logged a complaint at 100.

                              The Police officials are saying that there are lot of such cases coming to them and government is not able to trace them because they are ISD numbers.

                              All I Would request to the concerned authorities is that PLEASE transfer this information on News Channels, so that many o[censored]s can be saved from becoming fools..

                              I am an IDEA post paid user. I too got a call from a number starting +92. I did not pick up the call as I felt it strange that the number was starting with +92. I know India's country code is 91. Later I came to know that +92 is Pakistan's country code. I did a google search and found this blog on consumer complaints website. Like one of you mentioned, we should not ignore such calls. We all know what Pakistan is. I also agree that we should not at all respond to such calls. It could be dangerous. IDEA also should take up stringent action against such anonymous calls. How can they leak out our phone numbers to Pakistan. This is neither FUNNY nor a JOKE. If they do not take up actions against these calls and If I get another call from such number/s, then I will also lodge an Police FIR against IDEA.

                              caller said that he is calling from Dubai AIRTEL office. They informed about the lottery which I won worth 10 lakhs.

                              I request Airtel to take strict action against this number - or the series of numbers as mentioned above by other users.

                              Airtel is a brand, and I've been its customer for around 10 years - it should should consider this kind of complaints pretty seriously.
                              Any amount of money deducted may be re-imbursed back - thats a suggestion.

I was confused who is calling me from a strange number. today I was tring to locate this number on internet and luckily found this forum which has resolved my confusion and tension.                               My parents received a call from a person named "Vijay" from calcutta. He told them that we have won 25 lakhs in a lottery. He asked to call this 092 prefixed #. My parents called back and then, realized that it was fake. Unfortunately before realizing, they shared some of the information like residence address etc.
                              After the call got over, we received sms from airtel telling to execise caution while calling unknown number and sharing personal details as it can be misused.

                              I believe airtel should proactively speard this awareness among people. Many people in remote areas may not know such gimmicks played by these bluffmasters.

                              I am still not sure if we need to register a complaint regarding this incidence, would somebody advise me please?

                              This morning I too received 2 missed calls from +[protected]. I dialed and they say its a lottery win. If a person is given me a lottery amount then won't he has enough money to do an ISD call. Why is a pakistani calling indian numbers? there are many more unanswered questions in my mind. When i received a SMS in afternoon from AD-SERVICE from airtel saying that 'you have made an ISD call to 0092 and make sure you don't disclose your details. What is the use of sending such a message and that too after 5 hrs.

                              This SMS should be rotating to all customers. If you cannot control and public has to bring this to police's notice.

                              I didn't believe it, once i reached back home i checked online for such frauds and found above link. I called airtel and informed them about it.

                              I as an individual cannot followup with these frauds, however Airtel can and should followup and these people are defaming airtel's name.

When I checked the country code of 92, I came to know that it is from Pakistan. I am reading lots of things about getting these types of FRAUD calls from various countries wherein caller will try to convince you about any baseless thing and will cheat you.                               I received a miised call from No :[protected] at 11:08AM .I called back, I was told that the call was from Airtel Head Office and My No had won 25 Lacs in lottery of recharge coupons.He asked me to call Akash Verma on [protected]. I knew that it is a fraud call as my no is post paid.

                              Pls be careful of such calls from ++92 nos.
                              today 11-10-10 and yesterday i received a call from [protected] and they told me you have won a lottery of 25lac rs. u call on this number [protected] more information regarding this but i have not call yet i think that this number is fraud and fake user so connect internet to get more information regarding this . i found lots of people are cheated by these number user. so i requested all the people do not excite by reciving such types of call. Like me take information about such types of number from custmer care numbers .

                              I want to know from Airtel, Airtel why not taking action against this kind of missed call, and its from Pakistan, so we are afraid.
                              Please Airtel do something for avoid this kind of missed call, i mean from PAKISTAN.
                              Same call also come from [protected] and told me to to call to this number [protected] to conform your price money 25 laks, they asked my bank account number to transfer money, they are fraud.I request every one who read my message to beware of these Pakistani stupid frauds.I don't need to tell what is Pakistan? As the whole world know Pakistan is the most dangerous place and a heaven for terrorist. I request BHARTI AIRTEL company to take action against this fraud lottery and there phone calls.                               Airtel fraud — money taken from my balance without informing me

                              I've been using Airtel for a long Time.i was really happy with all ur services and all.thank u for that.my no is +[protected].if possible chk my profile history.i am sure u must got my call details

                              but now a days i am fully cheated by Airtel. many times Airtel has taken money from my account . at first i was not informed about that. after getting shortage in my balance i chkd and found the stolen mind of stolen people[Airtel]

                              the good news is that i made many calls to customer care and registered complaintz about this.but the sadest fact is that they gave me some cock and bull story and told me to wait for somedays. up2 this time i have been facing this problem. how can i get charged my mobile if you stole money from my account. to the best of my belief i have been facing this dead problem since 24th of jan 2011.i dont have the habbit of charging small amounts. i used to charge for full talktime always. that might be the reason that Airtel took money always with out informing me.

                              I wouldnt mind to give money directly to you people but u have to give only 1 promise that Airtel people never ever try to stole any single money from anybodys account especially from mine.

                              i wish you people could do better actions on this. still i would like to continue airtel connection.i[censored] r not ready to clear my problems why should i use this connection. i surely change airtel into Idea witht my same mob no.
                              i hve also a call[protected] thtz number they wll tell me thtz u wll a lotery in bst number of airtel and u wll be win a 25 lakhs rupees and they wll ask be my account no nd address .And they wll be said thtz i am officer of airtel mobile office...nd again nd again they wll miss call to me...plz do somethng aganst strict action...
                              i too got cheated by the same modus operandi. First, i got a missed call from[protected]. when i called, i was notified that i have won rs 25 lakhs! and then i directed me to call another number. it seemed weird. If i had won, they would have called and not give a missed call for me to call them back. i was suspicious as the guy was struggling to speak fluent Hindi; he had a Punjabi accent.

                              my second mistake was i did not check my balance when the balance message popped up. I called the given number [protected], he had the same suspicious accent. i hung up and checked my balance, sure enouh nearly rs 100 was deducted.

                              This was just half an hour ago. I hope airtel does something about it.
                              PS: These calls were originating from Porkistan err.. Pakistan.

                              Airtel — money was taken many times without informing me

                              i am very delighted to write this email because i was deadly cheated by Airtel. so

                              if you dont mind will you please stop this filthy game and also i do need to get my

                              money back. otherwise please help me change my network provider


                              i wouldnt mind about the network providers but i am always prefer is good and best

                              service providers.i know that ,Airtel was like that because of that reason i took and

                              been using this connection for a longer time. now a days i really dont know about

                              the quality of airtel service.

                              I had a call from Airtel company from Mumbai, they told me that i had won 10 lakhs rupees in reward,
                              for getting that 10 lakhs rupees i have to pay 10,000 rupees as tax, i had paid 10,000 rupees in the Account number provided by the company on the same day, after that day i had one more call from the same company that i had to pay 17,700 rupees extra as a managerial fees to get that 10 lakhs rupees, i had paid that 17,700 in the account number provided by the company, this time when i am calling on the number they are saying to pay more money, what i can do for this, Airtel company has done fraud with me.
                              I had all paying receipt and phone numbers of the company, what i can do...

                              I would like to draw the attention of Airtel authorities that today I got a call from a person informing me that i've won a lottery worth 10 lacs.The call was made from the no.[protected].I tried calling back on the same no. but to no avail.I request the authorities to take some action against the same. as such calls can be dangerous.
                              I also got missed call from [protected] on my vodafone mobile . But I immediately surprised to see the number as I was driving when I got the call and couldn't judge if it is a call or just a missed call. When I searched on google, I saw so many comments on such nos. which my friends as above put here. thank you my frns.
                              I think this must be publicised in media so that our public will be aware of that.

                              Some executive called — Fraudulent Call for Lottery

                              I Received a fraud call from this number ([protected]) saying that You have won a lottery of 10 Lakh. We said that I dont want It then also the person he kept on disturbing. Please take an action. I believe this number is not from India
                              i received a call from the same no.[protected] as posted by dhairesh chaudhari on April 24th 2010 he told me the same thing and when i complained to Airtel they were very casual about it just saying that it was a fraud call.

                                We would like to bring to your notice that installation of mobile towers in residential area is not authorized by the Deptt of Telecom. As mobile tower emits RF radiations and is harmful...

                                I am receiving this daily prayer SMS service and it deducts Rs.1 from my balance.Actually i have'nt registered in that service and I don't want that service any more.So please take action soon and do not send me this kind of services without my concern.

                                  I have been several times to Airtel Customer Care at Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Road, Kolkata. They never give good services. Always keep the customer waiting giving excuses such as their computer not working or they are busy in some accounting works. It happens for several times. Even they avoid people coming for simple recharge. But it has been that they gossip among themselves, talk over the prolonged phone calls being so irresponsible in their duty. I think its high time the authority should take some active step on this center.

                                  Airtel is the VERY WORST in Customer Care Service.

                                  After making a repeated complaint to customer care officers, i have finally make a complaint thru mail.
                                  I have been chareged Rs.5/- per day from Airtel in daily without my consensus from 54321 with the following messege " Air subscription service from Airtel for FHM Video.Rs.5/-charged from your account"

                                  We have a 29 connections with Airtel network. If the problem persists, we will change our network from Airtel immediately.

                                    Sir/Mam,
                                    This is to say that I Ashish Anand had lodged a complaint against ur device PLUG TO SURF for Internet connection. I was highly impressed with ur quick response but that time u asked me for the details.As since I was out for some work I couldnt provide u with the details so in this regard I would like u to call me again and please get the details.
                                    I lodged a complaint regarding ur very slow network connection with a horrible speed of a maximum of 10kbps which is far slow than the speed(236kbps) told by u.
                                    In this regard I would like you to take action against them or just reimburse my money Rs.3600/= as I am just depressed with ur speed and with the response that I got from the airtel distributor I think my problem wont be solved and my money is just wasted.
                                    Kindly chek the details and take the required action.
