Hi
i have a huge complaint against standard chartered credit cards as i had done the settlement for the credit card and closed the card about a year and half but now after these many days i get calls from the customer care depaptment to pay them the amount balance which is of about 3500 rs and when i ask them to explain why should i pay then they say that i had not settled the entire amount where in i had gone to one of the credit card branch and called the customer care dept from the phone in the branch and they confirmed that i had to pay off 15 k and my credit card will be closed and i did the same but now they come back to me to pay them more and when i told the customer care rep that i will not pay the amount she started threatening me, the customer care department for the credit cards are worst, they dont speak proper english and they dont have a good language to talk to people, they harrse people, when i asked for explaination to why they dint call me for soo many days the explanation i get from the customer care rep is she was tring to get in touch wiht my mom and get my mobile number and after that they kept calling me and i dint receive any call from them, please help me i am too tenced cause of them, please give the highest contact of the standard chartered credit card dept so that i would be able to talk to them directly and sort out this issue

I am Jaya Kumar, used SCB credit card 2 years back. When I transfered to Hyderabad from Delhi, I have cleared all the amount other than loan amount which is EMI. Later also I cleared all the amounts through cheques. After One and half year SCB executive called me and told that the due is about 12000. I explained that all the things were cleared. He asked me the proof and I sent all the cheque numbers through which I paid. Later now some other executive is harassing me and asking me to settle the amount. Where I had to make complaint on this?

The very purpose of complaints filed with you is defeated. I request you to please read the complete file carefully once again

After going through the entire sequence of events you finally say that you were given a valid debit instruction.

It may be pointed out that the debit instruction is valid only for the time the car was rented from Enterprise. Kindly refer to the agreement from Rent a car - Enterprise - agreement number 138885 whereby the Date Time Out = 22/09/2008 09:12, Date and Time In = 23/09/2008 09:08. However the congestion charging for Transport for London - charged was for 24th september - when the car was already returned to then on 23rd September at 09.08 hours.

If such fraudulent payments are also made by you inspite of us pointing it out to you - then there is no use of you employing highly educated and efficient(????) people at your end. We will be left with no alternative but to go to court against you.

Hope you will now go through the files and study the same to arrive at the crux of the matter and get the erring party Enterprise Rent-a-car to pay up falsely charged money back to us alongwith compensation for harrassment.

I being the genuine customer of your bank and paying the bills regularly without receiving the statements regularly. Even after logging complaints many times the bank Credit Card Section has not taken care of the complains and they are every time charging me extra that to with interest. I will bring to your notice that the bank is not properly functioning, due to which the customers are undergoing harassments.

So I would like to inform the bank to wake up and smell the coffee and do not trouble the customers and work ethically.

Do reply to the mails.

This is for the information of general public/customers of Standard Chartered Bank that if you people are receiving any abusive/threatening/misbehaving calls from standard chartered bank or recovery agents, then you can lodge your complaints with crime branch, delhi police on acp-aec-dl@nic.in.

Yes, I am also not happy with the attidude of customer care department.Some days ago I have asked them to stop my insurance cover/premium.After few days they are not constantly following up with some new scheme where i have to make payment of Rs.4000.00 pa on this account for one year thereafter this would be discontinued. However she is asking me confirm the verification department that i wish to accept this policy and will continue with it.She is asking me not to tell the verifying agency that i have accepted this policy is only for one year that too under compulson.

What this is going on ?? I am now thinking to close the account.

Request if i can also get the right person to whom i should contact.

I have a credit card of Standard Chartered Bank .card no.is.5546 2329 0811 3474

on 1 st Feb.2009 somebody used card my card .amount of Rs.4323.94 transaction was Register a Company. Because the transaction made in the name of ANMOL GUPTA AND ARTI AGGARWAL .Both are in GURGAON, HARYANA.

I have never seen them, even though I dont know who are they .I am staying at MUMBAI Somebody misused my credit card no.doing online transaction in my account.

Though card was sanctioned in the month of oct.2008 since today I have never used it.

Kindly check with your end carefully and let me know. I am not going to pay whatever dues shown .
Standard Chatered did gave me reply on my 2 nd complaint .From where they
used my credite card no.? from which city they used pc.

Till the executive like Ms. Neha from this number - +91 11 24648032 is there, the rpoblem will be carried with the customers and no customer will get satisfy with your executives.
She is the worst executive I have contacted thorugh my 50 years of career.

If really the standard chartared credit card dept. cares for the customer, then please provide some training to such like executives to learn some courtesy before talking to any customers.

I would like to draw your kind attention that as i have applied for a house loan from IDBI Bank, and as per their querry from Cibil, shows 60428/-Rs. payement is due from my end against Control No. 396610598 posted on dtd.31/03/2009, Hence it is requested you to please take out my name from Cibil to settle my house loan or a NOC letter can be send by email as soon as possible. As i have not ever been applied for credit card from Standard Chartered bank.So please see into the matter on priority bases.

Hi,
This is Vijay Here. Last month i got the call from the STANDARD CHARTERED for credit card. I told my financial details. They told that i am eligible and they were agree to give the card to me.After that one STANDARD CHARTERED executive whose name was Nandeesh and whose no was 9844197929. he collected the documents from me.Later i did not got the call from that bank for varification or and even i did not get any Card application status. I called 4-5 times to that executive, he was not ready to take the responsibilty.He was telling that he had submitted the documents to the bank and his has done his job. So now i have to approach to bank it seems.I did not get even the Application no also. i dont know why they want to waste our time and their time also. These STANDARD CHARTERED people are like a fraud.So dont belive on those guys.I have bad experience.

Standard Chartered Bank is International Chindi Chor Bank. It survives on unnecessary charges from its customers. Its my practical experience.

Dear Sir,
I had settled my outstanding dues in cash against credit card no. 4129048386094590 on 22.04.09 against your letter no. NDLS26992, bearing customer no. 0220267111805070.

Recently I have started getting calls on my mobile that there is a problem and the letter no. issued by the bank is required. The calls comming also get disconnected even before you can complete the conversation.

Kindly look into the matted and revert back to me.

The collection agent who had been collecting the money from me and had handed me the letter is Tanuj and his mobile no. is 9711112036.

I cannot agree more; they behave as if harassment is a an article of faith of their organisation. The so called customer care (there cannot be a worse misnomer than this) dept has advised me not less than three times that I have cleared my dues and my card stands cancelled; but I have again received a bill claiming their incidentals and LATE FEE to boot. This happens only because there is no internal or external ombudsman to pull up this recalcitrant attitude.

Dear Sir,
Sub: Regarding non receipt of credit card form blue dart courier service inspite of sending them telephonic reminders.


It is to draw your attention to the fact that asper ther sms receipt by me from standard chartered, my credit card was dispatched on 7th September 2009 via blue dart courier at my office address in gurgaon. However, till date i am yet to receive the said courier from blue dart (HPT 43045831113) inspite of my follow up with them at their customer care center. the ladies puts thecustomer on hold at least six seven times during the call and keeps on cahtting among themselve as can be heard by the customers too.

previouisly, the agent came to my offcie between 1 to 2 pm (lunch time) to deliver the card but as thats lunch tiem, i was out of office. Iits ridiculous to see that the agetn expects the customers to be office in lunch time. on calling them, they said that card will be delivered to me on 11.9.09 prior to lunch time (9 to 12). The same is strill awaited and on follow up they said it will be delivered tomoroow, saturday. my office remain closed on sat, so again its shameful to see their attitude.

kindly at least make sure your courier company takes care of customer and make dilivery on time or else pl change the said company.

Dear sir,

i had a credit card(swapnay) with a suplymentary card no:5543747030676174, the validity was 12/01 to 12/03.Hence I am a central govt. employee and performing transferring duty therefore, I canceled that credit card after validity covered.Then I transferred to Meghalaya.Now I am in kolkata and applied for a home lone from S.B.I tollygunge branch.But unfortunately I came to understand due to your credit report of which send to CIBIL that I have an overdue of Rs.12, 143/- against my new card no:5543748030220104 of which I have not yet received because during that time I posted at Meghalaya.So I highly obliged you that you may closed due of Rs 12, 143/- and cut off my name from CIBIL immediately and I will never pay you that say ammount.Hence I have no SCB credit card, so you send me a no objection cirtificate/clearance cirtificate within 12 hours.Otherwise tommorrow I will go to Consumer Court and High Court kolkata and move a froght case against your concern.

I have my own complaint against standard chartered bank.To bigin with, I got standard chartered visa classic card around 1999 I was submiting my bills regularly and after few years they gave me scb master classic also .I was paying both card fee every year and was using regularly.In year 2006 around june I lost my wallet, I compained thrice everytime a new identilty appered on phone, I requested them that I have paid all dews according to statement and as have lost my wallet kindly block my card immediately and issue me a new one.I also requested for pin number which I didnt had since long time.My repeated requests were not entertained.I even made std calls to chennai branch.Around sep 2006 I relocated myself to Tamil Nadu .One fine evening I got acall from some scbemplyee that I have to pay dews of some 10, 000/ - to the standard chartered bank.I st thing i asked her was when did they issued me a new card as they have all my address details, and when thse tranjections were done.I got the answer their was some tranjection of 500/-rupees, and card visa and master yearly fees and interest put on them.I asked that as i have contacted bank many times and i ddint got even a single reply from their side what made them call me all of sudden.The lady didnt had any answer but she insisted me to give rupees10, 000/- and then only she will close my crdit card account.I told her i wanted credit card replaced.She refused to it.Again after few days I received call from some new person that they can close my account if I pay them rupee5000/-.I said I will consult my lawyer what legal thing is to be done.As It was fault from bank side, so I sho8ld get my credit card back and not creditcard closed.I already own a credit card of some other bank with a very good limit, and my status can be checked as I am happy with that bank and bank has no complain against me.
Can anybody tell me what a customer like me can do when he is harrased for the fault which he hasnt done?

I was contacted by customer care officials and assured of a personal loan of Rs.1.57 lakhs later on it was made as Rs.57000 for which I wasted STD call from. Thereafter I was assured within 5 days the draft will be sent to my address but till date nothing has been received on seeking clarifications they say the approval was not accorded for reasons best known to the bank. I feel that the bank authorities must not call us and have a discussion for fun sake.

I am very shortly closing the card account

I ve provided proper documents and completed verifications properly too..

Im waiting for 20 - 25 days and receiving a communication from you saying "Unable to provide your Credit Card"..

Im not sure what does this mean.. I already possess 3 credit cards - ICICI, SBI and HDFC..

I never asked for a card with your bank.. The customer care executive by name - Karthik (04443982900, 04443518347) compelled me to apply for the card.

I was hesitant to apply because the previous time also the same happened with your executives... they got the documents.. I completed verifications..After that I heard nothing from them...

But this guy and his team leader, name - Aruna(9789960503) assured me that there will be no problem with card processing and I ll get the card for sure this time...

Im wondering how you people are cheating customers with good bank profile like this saying false promises and false commitments..

After questioning the customer care executives and getting assurance from them that I ll get the card definitely only, I accepted to apply for the card.

Do you think Im sitting idle here to do all processing and to get a negative reply from your sides..

Im greatly disappointed with the reply I ve received..

No bank has cheated like this.. Bad treatment for customers from your bank...

Your bank ppl are so easy in saying you ll get the documents back..

Its so unfair and unjust to tell this as I ve invested my time in this besides my office work..

I can contact only the bank people for my queries but now they ask me to contact the bank directly.. Is this the right words for your people to say??

I need the card somehow ... Please do not tell any lame excuses...

I need an immediate solution to my problem so that I get my card at any cost...

Im ready to provide any required documents for card that you ask for

I also need the email address of the credit cards division head person who can take a immediate action for my problem..
