Non delivery/ no response
I Had purchased a PANASONIC NV-GS85 DIGITAL from rediff shopping on 18 Dec 2007 and the amount debited from my credit card on 20 dec 2007, I was informed by rediffmail that my item is despatched details as follows
PANASONIC NV-GS85 DIGITAL CCD CAMCORDER Sandeep Vig (Big Baazaar) Aramex 875341756 27-12-2007 http://www.aramexindia.com Expected delivery: You should receive your order between 31 Dec, 2007 and 04 Jan, 2008.
But till todate i havenot received the item even after approaching rediff customer care they have not given any correct details, the courier detail given by rediff shpopping turned out to be invaild, indicating that i have been cheated by rediff shopping. Kindly help me to proceed legally against this web site, to retreive my money.

Hi there,
I had ordered a gift for valentine day & as I live in UK, I thought that rediff.com will be good if I want to send a gift in India. Today is valentine day and it's 7:00 p.m. there in India. And I tracked my order status & it's still pending. I called to my loved once & I knew that she hadn't received anything.
I am really disappointed. What's the meaning of this valentine day gift, if it's not sent today. It was written 'gift will be send within 3 days' & I ordered before 5 days. My payment from my credit card was already taken on the next day of placing the order.
I searched contact number & found Rediff Customer Service number (91 22 2444 9144) & Security Guard picked the phone (at 7:15 p.m. Indian time) & told me that no one was there & you should call on Monday morning (Indian time). I was really disappointed that no one was there to support me.
Indian call centres are giving 24hours*7days services to Western Countries' Companies & in India, there is no value of Indian customers. So sad :(
I will not recommend Rediff-Shopping to anyone. It's shit...

Today I received the Package. I'm not sure whether you are aware about the issues that customers face or not. But I'm afraid that you are going to hear about one from me.
1. I've received a different MP3 player as compared to what I had seen on the website and orderd for.
2. The left ear piece of the head phone is broken.

I had placed this order on 10th Feb 2009. The only request which I made on the same day as soon as I placed the order was about my preference of the colour (Black) of the MP3 player. I'm not sure why it took you guys so long to just to reply that you can't do anything about it.
I'm not sure whether you are referring to the above matter or not as nothing is clearly mentioned (what changes) in the below email.

As per the website, the consignment was supposed to be delivered at the given address within seven days. Do you have any justification as to why it's taking more than 10 days?

I am placed an order for Original Model of Air Gun / Pistol / Revolver / Mouser Toy - With FREE Surprise Gift - items shown in the Rediff shopping site under the head of TOY. I have received the consignement on Cash payment after deliver basis. When I open the baggage and saw the product in which it was packed in the style of Zore bazaar item. ( DUBAKKUR ITEM). This type of items was sold on the street side duplicate seller. I found shock because it is not an packing of online shopping market item. It is purely on cheting shopping. How the Govt. will not banned in these type of forgerry sites. This is purely on white collar offence. Cyber cell authorities will closely monitor these type of sites and banned in future. I have purchased a crono watch from you.(order no.5247546). I made payment thru net banking, even i recieved the watch, but it was defective, then i resent on given address of Mayank electronics Hyderabad on to pay basis, ( amount to pay by M/s Mayank Electronics ) but i shocked when seller refuse to accept that products, said couirer charges are vey high its so shocking, i tried to caontac on given numbers ( 9291376266) & 040 3244 3594 but they do not pick up the phone.Is it pre planned?????

I ordered ( HP LaserJet 1020 Plus Printer, order: 5279673 ) through rediff shopping on 25th march 2008.
I payed the amount through citibank credit card. After 4-5 days i got the massage it will be late by 3-4 days. but i did not get the item even on 18th april 2008. when i contacted customer care(02224449144) there is no resoponce. I sent a mail regarding this matter. there was no response. Again I sent a mail. I got a mail on 21th april 2008 that the item is out of stock. so they are cancelling the item. They really wasted one month time. I had done many e-transactions through Amazon, e-bay, wildties, abebooks, ancientties, a1bookstore etc. But this is the worst service i have ever experienced. I lost one month time ending with out product |
That is ture, I even ordered a chrono watch a month ago, and they have not delivered it. Following up with rediff.com is useless. They say this is a "UNIQUE kind of issue". Finally after 4 to 5 times of word wars, they cancelled the amount and returned the money i paid.. Try calling +91 222-444-9144 for speaking to a customer care agent in shopping department.
Also this OJJAIS enterprise, is a fraud. he was the same vendor who did not delive the product i orderd a month ago.

Order no:5315751 -Ordered by S.Jayanthy Iyer.We had ordered for a Nokia 5800 mobile .Some documents were required by rediff as the amount was heavy and we have emailed the same.Our credit card also has been charged and we have no repsonse from rediff till date. On tracking thru sms we get Awaiting payment.KIndly let us know the status and when we will receive the same.
We have not encountered any prob like this with rediff online shopping so far.

it is fraud and in USA it will invite a court case for willfull cheating as the product does not match the discription and photographs |
Purchasing online from rediifmail is ridiculous... My order no is 5430770... It has been approved on 16/06/2009 and the status shows that it has been handed over to the courier on 22/06/2009 with a consingment number... When I contacted the courier agency regarding the consignment number, they told me that the no is invalid... Also I've contacted cc, but there is no solution ...
