[Resolved]  Maruti Swift Dzire — Maruti Suzuki Dzire Booking Problems

I have been trying to book a Maruti Swift Dezire VXI from the last few days, and am going through the a harrowing experience with the Dealers. I first went to Pratham Motors at Outer Ring Road to book the car. They refused to take a booking and told me that Maruti has stopped taking booking of Swift Dezire cars. When I put pressure on them they told me that they can take the booking but the delivery would take 9 months. They had 2 weeks back told me that the delivery would take 3 months, which was also long, but I was ready to accept it. But last week they told me that they would be able to deliver in 9 months. I was also surprised by their behavior.

I then called up the Maruti call center and spoke to Jiten, He told me that there was no stop from Maruti’s end on booking for Dezire and the delivery period was much earlier than 3 months. He took my mobile no. and promised me that somebody would be calling me at the earliest. But till now there is no call.

After that I spoke to multiple other dealers in Bangalore for the booking but every body was mentioning that the delivery would take 4 to 6 months. When I spoke to Mr. Anil from RNS Motors, Yesthwantapur. He told me that they could deliver the vehicle in 3 months time, I was relived and asked him to send a person to take the booking immediately. But nobody came for the booking till afternoon. Then I had to call Mr.Anil multiple times. Then at last in the evening he promised that one sales executive would reach my home late in the evening.

At last at 8 PM one Sales Executive from RNS Motors Bomanhalli reaches my home, gives me a price and tells me that there are no discounts and any freebees. I agree to the same and fill the booking form. After filling the form when I was giving him a cheque of Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, he refused to take it and said that the Booking amount for the Swift Dezire is Rs.1, 00, 000/-, which is fixed by Maruti. I asked him to show me documentation to this effect, he was unable to show any documentation. After that I spoke to the Sales Manager, of RNS Motors Bommanhalli and also with Mr. Anil from RNS Motors Yeshwantpur the accept Rs.25, 000/- as the booking amount, but they FLATLY REFUSED.

After that I also called the Maurti call center again and spoke to Mr. Danish, and asked him if Maruti had fixed the booking amount of Rs.1, 00, 000/- for the Swift Dezire. He told me that Maruti had not fixed any thing of this kind and he would take it up with the concerned authorities. I asked him for the phone nos. of the Regional Manager at Bangalore of his mail id. He refused to give them to me and just gave a email id [protected]@maruti.co.in.

At end of all this experiences I feel very disturbed with the way I was treated by the Maruti dealers. The attitude they have is like they have a monopoly and can take the customers for a ride. My not buying a Maruti car will not make any difference to a big company like Maruti. I just wanted to check with Maruti if this the way the want their dealers to treat customers and claim to be the Winner of J.D.Power Customer Satisfaction awards, year after year.

I had sent the entire above details to the email id provided by the call center and also put in the details in their web site. I got a reply mentioning that the complaint has been sent to the concerned department and they would get back to me. 5 days had passed and there was no reply. So I sent a reminder mail.

Some body then called from the call center and was taking the details when the line got disconnected. He did not bother to call me again after that. This is kind of service we get from the leading Car Manufacturer in India.

Myself & myfriend booked 2 No's Dezires (diesel) cars With popular Auto mabiles, Both the car deliveries oct & december. where as now we checked with the local distibuter about the status, the response is verymuch disappoints us. he says the production is stoped .such response can not acceptable to us. we payed 50, 000/Rs. and confirm the booking not because of other products are not in the market available, secoundly how can it be possible the new products immediately stop the production. with out even supplying to the booked people.
If such situation local dealers are held responseble for the delivery accoring to the booking agrement.

such attitude are digrace on maruthi like reputed companies..
this is to bring to the attention of all maruti suzuki customer, i left my car for servicing and when i took delivery, it started giving me battery problems, when i called up the service centre, i was told the battery needs to be changed, on closer scrutiny, i realised, that my battery has a number and it is entered in my R C book, when i compared the two, i realised my battery was changed at the service centre, and another battery was put in place which would give me trouble within a few days, and i would be asked to buy a new one from the service centre, so all u folks, who leave your cars for servicing, please just do not drive out with your cars, make sure, your original parts have not been tampered with, last but not the least, the service centre admitted to having removed my original battery for no reason, now the reason i assume is, they wanna sell me a new battery and do more sales, have a nice day and please do take care.shabbeer

I am also experiencing other kind of treatment from Maruti dealer at Raipur(CG). I have purchased one SX-4 car and after 30 days also i am yet to get my invoice, sale letter, insurence paper Etc for which i have paid fulley. This i am placing this comment so that any award giving agency will consider all these while rewarding the car manufacturer in future.

Maruti Swift Dzire — LATE DELIVERY

I had booked SWIFT DEZIRE VDI car on 10th may 2008 more than seven months back at SITARAM MOTORS TUDA ROAD, PERINGAVU, TRICHUR, KERALA .As the dealer assured the car to be delievered with in three months.Till now dealer is not sure about the delievery, they do not respond properly.They make the fool with us and we didn't receive any interest which Maruti provided.So please respond me what should i do to get my car as soon as possible.

I today asked RNS MOTORS Hubli over telephone regarding booking and delivery of SWIFT DIZIRE VDI, it was shocking reply from RNS that delivery of the vehicle may take minimum 9-12 months...!!! from date of booking . Unbelevable...!!! Why this much of time ? what will be the intension of MARUTI in creating such type of havok in the market ?
I Dr. Rupam Ghosh Dastidar, Anauthestic, Panchet Hill Hospital, DVC, a resident of Qtr. NO. MED-2A, Ranchi Colony, Maithon, Jharkhand bought one Maruti SWIFTUXI Reg. No. WB06-9740 from Jalan Distributor Kolkata, West Bengal on 27.11.2008. My car met an accident on 05.12.2008 evening at Sanjay Chowk, Maithon, Jharkhand, I dly had taken the vehicle at Beekay Motors. Asansol Maruti Distributors on 06.12.2008 for repair works of the car, which is duly ensured by Bajaj Allinz till date (15.12.2008) morning I have been asking wont the progress of the work my vehicle but I am not exactly informed by them. Please instruct the Beekay Motors to help a Doctor in his need. Where the works hang and when i will get my car back.

I have purchased a used Maruti Van (Registration No. WB-02S 0230) from Dewars Garage (True Value Department), Coucil House Stree, Kolkata on April, 2008. The authority of that showroom offered me to change the owner's name and I paid all necessary charges to fullfill that legal charges. After some day they arranged a Smart Card but I found that the address written on that card is totally wrong. I infored them and they further agreed to rectify that error. But till now they do not arrange any Smart Card. From that day my car has faced lot of police case and I have spent huge fine. When I call Dewars Garage they do not attend my phone or they give my another new date to rectify that error. So, Now I can't ply my car. I am humbly requesting you to solve that problem and oblige me.

MARUTISUZUKI SWIFT DZIRE VDI — Booking amount and Delivery Period

I want to book SwiftDzire VDI model but fail to know from any dealer in ludhiana the exact booking amount and delivery period of this car

I have written email on 11Jan 2009 till date no reply or call, giving impression SELL & Forget .call up for Collect Service Coupons .
This is sheerly frustrating. I booked swift dzire at SAI SERVICE STATION PUNE (Jangali Maharaj Road, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune 4) on 25th December 2008 and haven't heard from the dealer abt the likely delivery date.

It was even more maddening when we contacted & enquired with the salesperson at Sai Service Station today, we were asked to contact the GM of Maruti Motors Ltd (Delhi) to seek any further information about the vehicle. Now that's some customer relationship management!! Or Maruti Suzuki India Lts has stopped caring about its own business and its own customers??!!

Absolutely disgusting experience. I may cancel the booking if I don't get any response in next two weeks and go for a different brand.

They are unnesseserily giving wrong committment. if there is delay then why they are giving wrong delivery date at the time of booking.They said that they will give vehicle on or before 31/1/09 at the time of booking.Now they are not telling even the date.Most irresponsible.How it is certified ISO 9001.We have to contact them i think.

I am also aggrieved customer who has been slapped with a bill of Rs.30000/- by Apra in collusion with surveyor.II have also lodged my compalint at consumercompalint forum in name vof my wife priyanka want to take the fight to these unscruplous dealers.
