[Resolved]  ABN AMRO Bank Credit Card — Cheque Payment not accounted in time

Quiet for the some time I am facing problem with ABN Amro Bank credit card payments. Some time they do not receive the cheque at all or sometimes delayed receipt were shown just to make a chance of charging late fee and interest. In October they have shown receiving the cheque after due date. Surprisingly Cheque was cleared from my bank on 14th of October but as per their statement it was received to them on 16th of October. Originally cheque was dropped in drop box on 9th of October. In November I deposited two cheque at the same time and in the same skypack courier box one each for citibank and abn amro bank. Though Citibank received cheque in time but ABN did not received at all. After 10 days I got call from ABN Amro Bank. I immediately tendered fresh cheque. Now they r not reversing late payment charges and interest.

Can somebody tell me what should be the date of tendering of cheque while making payment of credit cards especially in the view of no proof of payment can be there since payments are made by dropping cheque in a drop box?
