[Resolved]  ABP Pvt. Ltd. — stop delivery of newspaper in spite of advance payment

I complain the following letter:

Dear Sir / Madam,

With due respect, I wish to draw your kind attention in the following matter:

I, Shib Prasad Ghosh, am a yearly subscribed customer of ‘Anandabazar Patrika’ & ‘Telegraph’ newspapers at Belur, Howrah which is my temporary address and the yearly subscription coupons are taken at my permanent address i.e. Bongaon, North 24 Parganas, W.B.- 743235 since last 3-4 years.

In this regard, please note that till date I haven’t received the coupons for the period of January’ 2012 to December’ 2012, in spite of being encashed my cheque bearing No.: 116999 of required yearly subscription amount of ` 1,625/- (Rupees one thousand six hundred twenty five only) on 14/12/2011 by ABP (Pvt.) Ltd., Kokata.

Under the above circumstances, the distributor does not agree to deliver the newspapers further.

In view of the above, I would earnestly request you to arrange to provide duplicate coupons for the above period or take necessary action, enabling me to get the newspapers continue.

Your kind co-operation in this regard is highly anticipated.

As they take no action, I visited & talked with Mr. D. Mishra on June'2012 in this matter. They commit no problem will happen further. They issue 2 duplicate coupons (Jan & Feb) to my vendor but after that no more coupons are being issued. Due to this, my vendor stopped to supply me the papers from 16/09/2012. Thereafter, my wife talked with Mr. D. Mishra[protected], Mr. Pradip Halder[protected] & Mr. Sanjay Sau ([protected]) on regular basis from 16/09/2012. Everyday they commit that from tomorrow papers will be given. But, till date on papers are given, whereas I pay for this advance even this absent days also.

Kindly help in this matter.
