[Resolved] Accenture Technologies — Recruitment Malpractice | |||
Hi, I had cleared both the rounds of interview with Accenture Technologies, at Pune (Magarpatta office) on 27th March 2010. The HR representative told me that congratulations, you are seleceted and our team will get in touch with you to collect your documents and we shall discuss the offer on the phone, since its already 6:30 PM and a lot of people are yet to go through their HR round. I was really happy to be selected for Accenture. Later, about a week commenced, and no one contacted me for the documents. about 2 and half weeks later I got a system generated SMS from TA-ACCENTURE, stating they are trying to get in touch with me for document collection and are requesting me to contact them at the earliest. I some how managed to find out the person who is responsible to collect documents - Geetha.hn I contacted her stating the issue, it was then that she asked for documents and I gave all the documents. A week after that, nothing happened so I sent her a mail stating everything. I did not get any response. A week later I dropped in a 'Gentle Reminder' mail - but still did not get any response. I sent the documents again - still no response. I must have shot her about 5-6 weekly reminder mails, but she did not respond to any of them. All of a sudden on 19th May 2010, she called and said she needed my documents urgently, I supplied her the documents 4 times in the same day. She called and evening and asked for my documents again. I was shocked!!!!... I told her I have sent the documents 4 times today, she asked what time, I told her around 1:30 pm, then she said - Oh!!!.yeah...right right right.....fine I have received them. All this while between 27th March(Date of selection) and 19th May(Date that she finally acknowledged the receipt of my documents, I kept getting SMSs from TA-Accenture that they don't have my documents. What is shocking is that, till today, 18th June (Almost a month after their employee confirmed she had my documents), nothing has been done. And the most irritating part is that I still get those SMSs. Because of some lazy, negligent, incompetent and stupid lady, my whole candidature is jeoperdized. I don't know whose malpractice is this, the HR's (If they feel the requirements are saturated, then they would put up with this "missing documents" non-sense), the document collection team or any other party. But one thing is for sure, the resourse suffers because of this non-sense. He/she is being assured of selection and then later on due to some sh#t, the whole thing crumbles down. This is serious malpractice on behalf of the Indian HR guys, this does not happen overseas. We are extremely unprofessional and stupid. This is a black spot on the whole Indian HR community. There are many such examples like this - Legal action should be taken against these , may then they will understand that we're not toys. Its sad!!.......Its just so damn sad!!!........ I am facing a similar issue with Accenture Bangalore. They have sent me a mail that i have been selected and asked for documents, which I submitted the same day but now they are not responding. You are right the people in HR are incompetent and this would show up in times to come.

hi i and my friend attended the interview for accenture Bangalore on Aug 21st, and the HR informed Both o[censored]s have cleared the interview and we will be getting call from Accenture for discussing salary and also we will get emails from HR and then we have to send all the documents for background verification.
first a person by name mohan emailed me alone and wanted all the scanned docs, when sent, the email was never delivered as his in box was full and after 2 weeks another person by name Subreen Patel emailed asking for all the docs for both o[censored]s, sent the emailed and kept waiting for pre-offer discussion call. but unfortunately again another person by name Ragavendra Raja emailed my friend again asking for scanned docs, and also i called him to check the status on my profile and he told me to forward all the scanned docs to him again and told only after verification of all docs then we will be getting call from Accenture, but its been more than 1 week since we have sent docs to him, no updated, sent gentle remainder emails to all these HRs several times, never got any reply. Very discouraging and disappointing behavior, careless attitude...its been more than 45 days since we attended interview, and as we not getting any update we have no choice but to wait, but lost patience and hopes, this is not at all fair from Accenture people, hope this wait will go waste.

Hi ...I m also facing same problem cleared both the round in june and they called me 2 times for document submission ..after that no response from HR...

Hi ... me too facing the same problem...Its been 3 months since I have submitted my document and haven't got any reply. I went to accenture bang6 asking for the explaination. When I went there first of all they didn't let me in when I called the reception she connected me to the HR dept. where I gave my Candidate id no. and when I got the reply from the HR for few seconds I wasn't able to believe at what I am hearing, he said "There is no such Candidate ID available in our database, pls for the HR to contact you whom you have submitted the documents."
I have also been told that I am selected for accenture and I need to send them documents ASAP for
background check which I did. Its been more than two weeks and I have sent them reminder mail asking
for my status. But till date I have not recieved any reply. I have no clue what is happening with my file, why is it taking so long and if I will recieve any offer letter from them

Need to know that what is the procedure they take telephone interview and send email congratulation submit ur doc after that they dont reply
I just cleared my interview rounds on 1st of march and I received email for collecting documents. I have submitted on the same day and they call me for dicscuusion after 4 hours...It was pretty fast. But after reading your experience, I am thinking that, I will need to wait now.

Same here...and even worse. They are one unprofessional lot and do not trust them.

Dear Sir/Madam,I am unable to track two registered post sent on 5th april, 2010 from banglore to pune
The registered post reciept numbers are: RL c652nd RL c658 repectively.
I tired to trace it online but there is no option availble to track the registered post on the official website of India post. (http://www.indiapost.gov.in/)
Also there is no need to mention the lethargic attitude of the Post office staff for helping out to track the post.
Guys this is really frustrating after clearing all the rounds..Not sure what exactly they expect. The mail says pls contact so and so. After 4 mails still not even a response from them. And dont ask me for phone calls the lobby person is quit clear that no HR will pick your call. Not sure how do we escalate this issue.

I thought it happened with me only, but after reading all these from so many people, it looks like a common issue with accenture. my case is even worse, i got through all rounds, submitted documents as hard copy and after that there is no response and after 2 months i got the call from HR stating that they have a opening, are you interested?? .
Friends once i thought accenture is a good company but after knowing this I am happy that i am not with accenture, if a company cannot handle a simple interview process then how will they handle the complex customer projects!!!. They just failed in implementing their process and protocols..
