[Resolved]  ACT Fibernet — Without crossing FUP they decreased the speed.

My Act broadband customer ID :412150 I have taken this ACT 15Mbps connection on Aug 23rd (activation date). ACT guys charged me for AUG 23 to Aug 31st as pro rated basis for the consumption (8GB -> August month; refer screen shot 1). They said that from September 1st the FUP will be 40GB. But as soon as i reached 30GB they decreased my net speed to 512Kbps. I called the customer care on sunday (22nd sept) reporting this. They said that we are also seeing that your FUP is still there and sir you need to wait until it get updated. But fortunately my broadband stopped working from sunday afternoon to Monday afternoon. Because of which i need not to wait until tomorrow. I saw the usage report and I still see I consumed 33 gb There fore i contacted back customer care and they started saying You have crossed 41Gb. One more fortunate thing is "On Monday(23rd sept) I have received a sms and email from ACT saying you have consumed 80% of the bandwidth which is 32gb utilization" What i can see here is the negligence towards the customer, They didnot reset the server after Aug 31st (for which i have paid) and keep on adding the data I utilize in this month. (8GB + 33Gb = 41GB) I'm so frustrated with their customer care responses. I have even sent escalation mail yesterday. Still no response. Please look in to this issue.

It happened to me again in December, 2013. I desperately want to escalate this issue because it looks like I'm victim again and again.

Is the issue resolved? What did the customer care do to solve this? Did they guarantee that this will not happen again?
