[Resolved]  Appco Marketing - Big Tv — WORST SERVICE

APPCO marketing people dropped one day saying that they have some offer for BIG TV DTH connection.
We were told that the whole kit is at a discount price of 1390 if our cheque number falls in between the numbers they have.
They took the cheque and promised a connection within 7 working days.
Its a month since I gave the cheque , they encashed it and everyday when we call up for status they would tell us that it would be fixed on that day finally no one turning up .
I asked them to cancel my connection and refund my payment and even that is not done saying it would take 21 days to get from their headoffice at Bombay. :(
Till date my amount is not refunded.

This whole process has wasted our time and energy and now I feel they are betraying people by false promises and not delivering services as promised.

Please dont trust anyone and pay them instantly.
I have lost trust on RELIANCE BIG TV now seeing the type of marketing executives they have around.

BIG TV — 11 days still not ready - shall we go for consumer court

shall we approach consumer court?
Same thing here too... shall we approach...!! there are too many complaints regarding the same issue..
Same thing happen to me also last 13 days am totally Frustrated with this type of service...We should go for a consumer case.
Worst service
I bought big tv connection on 20th sep 08 and got installed another day but not activated 3 days.one week time it works fine.later no picture. On 8th oct 08, there was no pictures viewed in TV, it is blank screen. I called BIG TV customer care no and registered complaint after following their instruction of trying to retreive the picture. But i didnot get properly.when ever i called to customer care they will tell with in 48 hours, till now 23rd oct problem not resolved.Can i put complient against big tv in consumer court
I have taken BigTV 35 days back but until now i could not see channels in my TV. I have given 5 complaints but complaints are getting closed without solving the problem.
So i hope they are not ready to solve the problems.
I am planning to return it back...

BIG TV — Big TV - India's worst digital service

I have taken a Big TV connection and it took more than 3 weeks for installation though they promised only 48 hours for it.

After running for 2 weeks, it stopped working. I have launched a complaint on 18th of Oct stating that my Big TV connection has stopped working and i get a "Poor Signal" message.

I received a call on 28th Oct from a service executive and the guy said that he would visit my place the next day.

After waiting for two days when i called the call center to my surprise i was told that complaint has been closed (without addressing the issue).

I had to now launch a new complaint on 3rd Nov without any reason. So far its still not addressed.

When i call the customer care i will be told that complaint will be addressed within 48 hrs which is definately not true atleast in my the case.

The customer care has no clue about when its going to be addressed the service is hopeless
I bought Big TV last month (20th oct 2008), I faced a problem in getting signal on 14th of Nov 2008. I placed several complaint . No practical solving response is received. I came to know from local Big TV service provider (who came to my house)that settop box is not good. No action taken after that. I am frustrated in calling the customer care and I have called them more than 25 times. I was fooled by the agents saying the problem will be solved in next 24 hrs. I understood that there is no QUALITY CHECK in RELIANCE Company for this dth as there was no response from higher authorities even after there was more call on this smart card number.
I have taken BigTV 9/11/2008 but until now i could not see channels in my TV. I have given 2 complaints but complaints are getting closed without solving the problem.
So i hope they are not ready to solve the problems.
I am planning to return it back...

BIG TV — Big TV is India's worst digital TV

With out doubt the big TV is the worst digital TV service in India. I explain why ?
Firstly It takes hours to get connected to Big Tv's call centre and the people there cant speak a proper english sentance. The toll free number they have provided cant be reached by an MTNL phone. I am not too sure that the call centre number which they say is toll free is really toll free ( you cant trust any thing from Reliance they can tell most egregious lies)
If you tell them to start a pack they may start a pack which you never asked. I will tell my story I called to sart the NDTV news channel pack, but the fool started the NDTV imagine pack which I had not ask for. When I complained they said that once started pack cant be cancelled. I later told them to stop NDTV imagine they stopped NDTV news as well.

If for some reason you need to call there service engineer then only god can help you. I requested for Big TV service engineer on 21 Feb 2009 as there was a signal lost problem I was told that the problem would be solved within 48 hrs after two days I called they said we will do it soon when I called on third day I was amazed to hear that as per their record the service engineer visited my place and solved the problem. Naturally the engineer who was asigned the work made every one fool and reported that job is done whithout even bothering to check with customer. Today is 26 Feb 2009. five days have passed since I first made complaint, no one has come let alone any one coming to solve the problem .
They are cheats

i have taken Big Tv four months back i got the installation after one week and making 100 phones

now my remote is not working

i have made a complaint 15 days back and they assured me that service man will come within 48 hrs

but none of the holes visit i called again yesterday to the customer care they said that my complaint

has been closed. my request to everyone is dont ever go for Big tv.inits just waste of money.

Something similar for me.. I ordered for an HD-DVR connection on 14th Jan.. Apparently it was a Sankranti offer and I was to get another connection for free. Since that day, i am only reveiving calls that we will come in 1 hour, but till date no one has turned up.

And interestingly my Reliance Big TV account was activated on 24th Jan. I am sure these guys have sold it to someone else.

Appco is a big cheat..

Some agents of appco had come to me on 11/3/2010 and said that they will install within two days and they even had taken the payment through cheque.But till now i.e., 23/3/2010. Since that day onwards they are not receiving my calls.Even the office numbers of mumbai are not receiving the calls.
These appco people are big cheats..

today i had been saved by these comments, appco people came today saying 1590 Rs for relince digital tv, my dad wrote the check and gave to that guy. dan i came to the internet for searching these thing, i saw Mr siri262 's comment and immediatly acted upon it, and saved my dad's money. thanks to your comments.
exactly correct. AAPCO is a very big CHEATING company. in India. me and 10 of my friends took the connection form RAVI MISHRA the sales executive of AAPCO. His promise was to pay a initial payment of 1490 for the dth and we get the connection with 200 channles free for 3 months and after 3 months our package will be 115 Rs per month for 200 HD Clarity channels. But till now we didnt get the connection. This happened exactly on 29/10/2011 and today it is 28/11/2011. it is almost 1 month and whenever i call the given phone lines they will be busy all the 24 hours and i even complained to Mumbai office but no use.they said that they don't have these kind of packages and they took my complaint after 10 days of effort to call them. they picked my phone once by mistake. Hyderabad aapco executives get the instructions from Mumbai AAPCO office to cheat customer by giving the false promises. and how are the reliance people encourage these kind of Outsourcing companies. Reliance is a big Reputed company but they lose their company image my outsourcing to these companies like Aapco. Please someone take the action against this Aapco cimpany. i am trying my best to do it. I am not going to leave Ravi Mishra so easily.
Hi I truly feel thee same. One person named Gaurav Pandey came to my place in Noida saying theat he has done his MBA from Amity International and now doing some field project regarding how many people are using cable and how many are using dish TVs. I entertained him and after some discussion he told me theat if my cheque book number falls under a specific code I will get 50% discount and 5 monthes free subscription.. I agreed and paid thee a cheque of Rs 1490 to him on 1st of April. Till date [14the April] my connection is not activated. I made a call to Reliance customer care to know thee status of my connection and came to know theat my information is not even updated on theeir database. The Relainace people are not even ready to say withein how many days I am going to get thee connection.

It seems to me theat bothe Aapco India and Relaince Digital have cheated me. My cheque is already en cashed. When I called up Gaurav Pandey thee person who sold thee package to me, he even refused to recognize me. But I am not going to leave thee like theis. I shall go to every extent to see theat Gaurav Pandey along withe his company is taken to task.
