[Resolved] Aviva Life Insurance Company — Decline of death claim | |||
Dear Sir/Madam, I,Mrs. GEETA YADAV claimant of a payor rider policy in aviva life insurance company. My husband had taken a policy in aviva of Premium Rs.100,000 and policy term was 10 years.My husband had taken THE AVIVA NEW FREEDOM PLAN. My husband paid the first premium of policy and unfortunately he had taken his last breath on 4 th April 2010. During the purchase of policy the company promised to pay the sum assured and additional benifit. But when i claimed on my husband's policy the company refused to pay the sum assured and now companay is not paying the premium that my husband had invested. So I am in a very tuff situation. HAD CO ISSUED POLICY NUMBER AND CHEQ THE POLICY DOCUMENTS WHAT IS RISK COVER CO MUST HAD DONE MEDICAL CHEQ UP AND GIVEN THE RISK COVER .IF YOU GOT POLICY NUMBER CO HAD TO PAY DEATH CLAIM IF CO IGNORE YOU CAN FILE CASE ON COM IN CONSUMER COURT AND WRITE complaint LETTER TO IRDA .LOG ON www.irda.gov.in
