[Resolved]  Aviva Life Insurance — REGARDING CANCELING POLICY AND DEDUCTING VALUE

Hi Sir/Mam,

Subject -COMPLAINT OF AVIVA LIFE INSURANCE

Complaint Details:- I would like to escalate this matter against Aviva to you about worst services being provided by them,
which made huge financial loses to me.I was given a policy three years back by aviva's agent with incomplete information,
Every Year they deducted certain charges which I was not informed about at the time of selling the policy.
I always made my premium regularly. This year I tried making my payment on their IVR at least four times in a few days
and i never got any acknowledgment from them on my mobile or email. On every attempt i called customer service,
Nobody was helpful and willing to help. They asked me to wait for a while, as according to them
system takes some times to send SMS. Later i tried on their website which did not work.
Meanwhile I got a call by an agent who wanted me to have a meeting with her manager, the Reason they were contacting old
customers to improve their services and helping customer solve their problems and offered some other
beneficial plans. she also assured me that I can handover premium check to the sales manager who was supposed to visit my home in coming days.
On 15 november I called and informed that the last date with grace period is about to be over and they assured me that they would collect
my payment. Every time they broke my trust and showed professionalism. They concentrat on new sales and never bothered
about old clint, If this is the attitude of managers so what talk about their agents. This business is totally scame
I paid 30k so far and my fund value was 20k where as i was told that in 5years whatever amount i will pay will get double.

Finally I called to and the agent said my policy is inactive and which may result late fee, I was so disappointed
and after some time they send me a check of 10000k against my paid premium of 30000 inr, which i did not en-cash so far

Later I was contacted by their executive and he said will look into the matter but no response so far, I want my money back with interest. They have discontinued
this particular product that seems how secure i am with aviva as a client. 10000k is not acceptable at any given situation. Since company always make some deduction from our fund and its only client who suffers.

I received a call from a person last name TOMAR who claimed being Deputy Manager, It was another unpleasant experience with Aviva, Rather then giving me any resolution the person fell into argument and said it is not who is keeping my money. The way he spoke to me was like he is threatening, ITNA PAISA LENA
HO TO LO NAHI TO JAHA JANA HE JAO OR JO KARNA CHAHTE HO KAR LO. WHO WAS PUSHING ME TO GO TO ANY BRANCH

We would like to inform you that as per the terms and conditions of your policy, in case the surrender value of your policy falls below an amount equivalent to one years’ premium, your policy shall automatically terminate and the surrender value will be paid to you. Your policy was Autofore closed on 23.11.2011 and the cheque was dispatched to your correspondence address.

In case you have not encashed the autofore closure cheque and wish to re-instate the policy, please get in touch with the nearest branch.
We would like to inform you that insurance is a long-term protection instrument, and should be continued till the entire policy term to enjoy its benefits.
