I bought a online policy from aviva. My Proposal No.: is NUP75144888. After medical test aviva sent me a email for increased premium because of higher blood sugar, i am not diabetic so i asked for medical reports from aviva, today they sent me reports, i examined them carefully and they are absolutely normal. REPORTS CLEARLY TELLS THAT I DON'T HAVE DIABETES. I rejected Aviva's proposal of increased premium so now they want to deduct Rs. 1805/- from my payment as a medical charges. Now, I dont want to go with Aviva because they are using unethical tactics to increase premium. please help me, they are not listening me. Was this information helpful? | |||

We would like to confirm that there has been a thorough analysis of your proposal form and medicals received by our Underwriters. Basis the medical reports, which highlight a high blood sugar level, the premium on your policy has been increased.
Further, we would like to highlight that it is clearly mentioned on the proposal form (head note) that if cancellation is requested in the policy after the medicals are conducted, the medical expenses will be deducted from the refund amount.
We have mailed the details of the medical expenses on your email id.
