[Resolved] Bag It Today — Miscommitment from the sales manager of bagittoday | |||
I just want to report what all i experienced through bagittoday. In December i placed the order for almost 2.20 lac rupees. Only on the condition that if i will recieve my orders on the specific day, only within 4 to 5 days of placing an order. Their Sales Manager Mr.Rajeev Kapoor came on call and he promised that orders will be delivered within 4 to 5 days. He asked me to place an order for more amount. That is the reason the order was for 2lac 20 thousand rupees. He (Rajeev Kapoor) told me that i will recieve a call from the verification department and told me to say yes to everything, he told me that i only need to say yes in the verification call from them and he ensured me that i will receive the order on time as i live in Delhi. When i did not receive the order on time, i called them back again and asked them to pay me my money back. It took almost 5 months to return my money, which with interest and finance charges and late payment fees costed me 26000 rupees. Also i faced lot of difficulties when i called them back, it really wasted lot of time for me, i wrote an email to their CEO Mr.Salil Kumar and i got the call from their manager today Morning that they will give me the goods sum of Rupees 60000 as compensation as the issue caused me lot of time waste and my credit history with the bank also effected. My credit limit was around 8 lac which has been reduced to 6lac 59thousand now due to the late payments. Now they are saying that they will give me the goods of 13000 or 14000 as that is the value their department has calculated. Again they miscommitted because previously their manager did the fake committments and now again their manager told me that i will get the goods of 60000 as compensation and now they are not ready to give that as well. Generally they should pay me the 26000 and the goods as well as compensation as that has costed me my time and lot of depression. They are not ready to transfer the money in my credit card and saying that they will give me the goods of 13000 or 14000. I dont really need any goods as indirectly i am paying for the goods. This is the worst experience i have ever gone through and bagittoday is the worst organisation and no-one should ever purchase anything from them. As they do miscommittments. Please help me resolving this matter. Five Star Sales — no order found/ did not receive
I placed an order for a GPS with Five Star Sales @ Amazon Marketplace. My credit card was charged 204.00 and I received a notice saying it was shipped. I can't track it because when I type in the order number, "track my order" says no order found. So I searched for information to contact Five Star Sales. No information found. There is no contact number for Amazon or Five Star Sales... so who do I talk to regarding my order they claim I didn't pplace, but they charged me for? Hello Sonu,

Things are worst with bagittoday. even though i have mailed to their CEO, there managers contact me and says that we cant do anything, just because of the bagittoday guys my credit limit has been reduced as well, it had effected my bank reputation.

He promised me that he will contact me back immediately after the verification call and will ask for the packaging of my order.
He called me back and said that we can deliver you the order same day since you are in Delhi.

The recent incident was when your manager MR.Narendra Sharma called me and told me that in the compensation he will give me the goods of Rupees 60000, and then in the evening he told me that he can only offer me the mobile phone of 15000 Rupees.

I had been regularly buying articles from bagit today. I was repeatdly contacted by Ankush jain introducing as sr manager for holidays package. I ahd bookedd my stay in bangalore for jan 27-31. I told if I get a stay in hotel lalit Ashok then only I will opt. I was told if I book combo(2 pacakages)then I will be booked right away in lalit Ashok and 25 yrs membership. I believed and booked andwas assured a trolly bag also. latewr I was contactd and was told that I have been selected as a special customer and can get a item of choise by converting holiday package to the said selected item.i selected Sony LEd for which i paid for 2 packages and was assured of free blackberry gift. Again I was contacted that I can get a Dell laptop by buying 2 more packages, one now and second later next month. I did theat. I had received a call from bagittoday courier confirming my address and assuring that the items have been sent for custom clearance and despatch. Now I have not received any furthert confirmation nor Ankush Jain responding to my acall and also courier have banned incoming from my No. Pl rever as I not evem in my dreams can expect it from such a big reputed India Today group.I request Mr.salil Kumar to look into the matterand revert with his expert opinion if such a practice exists in the group.

Bag It Today — Miscommitment & fraud by Sales team of Bagittoday
On Saturday,07.08.2010, I recd call from BagItToady stating that I have been declared as winner for gold box offers where I would get an assured gift of Cash or Jewellery voucher for rupees 110,000 & as per them these vouchers can be used at authorized outlets of Baggittoday in our city . & they forced me to make 4 transaction ( Transaction Nos:[protected],[protected],[protected],[protected]. Now when I called customer care on 08.08.2010 they suggested to call on tuesday 10.08 as data was not updated in system, when i called on 10.08.2010 I came to know that these vouchers are only applicable for online shop of Surat Diamonds & nowhere else, also these voucheres are discount vouchers (Not Shopping vouchers). Then requested bagitttoday to cancell my all four above stated stransactions through mail on 10.08.2010 to id '[protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com', i have not recd any responce from them. request you to hep me in this regard.Thanks
