[Resolved]  Bajaj Auto Finance Ltd — Penalty imposed without any information and without my any fault

I was taken a consumer loan from the Baja Auto Finance ltd on 23-05-08 against a Laptop Purchase (Loand Account No. 305316), the company people said the ECS will come for the clearance on every month 15th, in the first month ECS ie 15-06-08 was not cleared from account, then i was unble to find the customer contact number but i put mail to them reg. same, in the next month also the same was happend, after that i got a call from the collection department and asked me to pay the installments with panalty. I asked them why i need to pay this, they said that there is no account with bank what i given them for ECS.
i showed my account and balance avalible on that to the excutive and ask him verify that what happend actually. he asked me to pay the installment on cash and he will find the problem and rectify the same immeditly and he deduted all panalities and given me in writting also in the back side of the recipt.
but in the next month ECS was not cleared from my account, also i got call from the collection dept. to pay the installment in cash. then i told them frist you tell me the actual problem. then i will pay them amounts afterwards we found that in their accounts they wrongly inputed my account no, so i made them clear first you rectify the error then back to me i will pay the balance amount immedatly, but they didn't. the same happend in the next month also.

Then i gone to the baja finance office at Hyderabad and discussed with them and rectified my problem(ie they corrected my Account no in their records). i requested them to wavier off the panalities what was imposed against as a check bouns charges, they agreed that and they told they will send a loan account statment along with the collection agent also agreed to pay the amount after that only. the entire thing was done in a ovral manner only, they does't given me any complaint no or any thing else.

till date i am persuing with the agenets with same but they are not yet done sofar, also i was not paid pending 2 installments to them.

this is old story, today when i tracked my bank account i found that the baja finance ECS came for clearing on 10-08-09 and bounced because of insufficient fund, the actual date of the ECS is on 15th of every month, this is first check bounce in my account since inseption of my Account, in my account check bounce charges also leved. so is their any clause was their that the Baja finance people can deposit the checks or ECS when ever thay wish without given me any intimation. what i have to do please tell me.

1) Prposal No: 190051 dated 17/5/2007
I gave them the post dated cheque for EMI and mentioned that they should deposit the cheque every month between 1st to 5th of every month so that the cheque can get cleared. But even though this instruction they deposited the cheque late by 16th of the month and as by that time the fund was not sufficient in my account so the cheque got bounced. They informed and we paid them the cash immediately the next day and again we reminded them that they should deposit the cheque between 1st to 5th of every month. Surprisingly without any information to us by letter or by mail they imposed penalty of Rs 500 and we came to know only after 1 year when we went for NOC. So the complain is not for the amount but the way they handled this and without any intimation to us they imposed penalty and recovered the same from us although we paid total loan amount and our record was clear. I think as a fair practice if they found that we paid their total loan amount in time, they could have waived this penalty or atleast they should have intimated us for this. We got lot of harassment to move to long distance from Kothrud pune to wakdewadi Pune in Bajaj Finance office and met the branch manager- Rakesh Singh but he did not respond in a positive way. I think this is not the proper way to handle a good customer whose record says that he has cleared the loan amount in time.

2) Second case is also similar. Proposal No: 185965 dated 13/4/07. Here also they imposed penalty of Rs 400 due to the similar situation as mentioned above.
3) 3rd case: Recently we went to bajaj show room here in krave road pune called bajaj sai service stn. We booked 2 nos of two wheeler (XCD 125 AND KRISTAL) wE TOOK THE Bajaj FINANCE LOAN AND AS PER their representative Vishal we paid the down payment and signed the agreement as per sanctioned amount mentioned by him. Again when we went to take the delivery of the vehicle after 1 week, we got surprised because the same person Vishal told us that we need to pay additional down payment of Rs 3500 because the sanction is not 30% but 40%. So we argued that atleast he should have informed us the same day when we signed the agreement and paid the down payment based on his information, so that accordingly we could have decided whether we need to go ahead or not. Once we executed, why there is any change in the stand..? Here again we found total unprofessional way of dealing with customer and making the customer harrased by this way of act. I am totally frustrated with Bajaj finance they way they are dealing with customer and need immediate response from their higher authority. Hope to get the quick and positive response...

I am Jitender Kapoor from delhi. I have purchase Discover 135 dtsi (DL3S BK 4893) on 10/08/2008 from Diwan Bajaj R.K Puram Delhi but still i have not recieved the RC of my bike. When i talk to Mr. Ravinder Sinha (manager) and Mr. Sahu (sales executive) abut RC, they said contact to Diwan Bajaj Lajpat Nagar (Head Office) we can't to any thing in this but when i talk to Mr. Kapil (Sr. manager D.B. lajpat nagar) he said your have to contact to your show room from where you purchase that bike. Still not sure whether they have missed it or Mr. Sahu trying to make money from me. Just suggest me what should i do.

I am kuldeep, and i had financed bajaj pulsar on 1 janauary'09(DL8S-NC2188) from JS bajaj, Burari Delhii-110082. From the last two months its installment has not been taken.Can you please tell me the issue. The bike is on the name on Sh. Lala Ram Sharma.

I am Sanjay Kumar, and i had financed bajaj platina on 4th June, 2008 (HR 60A 9030) from Umed Auto Mobiles, Ganaur (Sonepat). I gave them the blank dated cheque (10Nos) for EMI and clearly tell him that they should deposit the cheque every month on or after 10th of every month so that the cheque can get cleared. But even though this instruction they deposited the cheque before the given 10th of the month and as by that time the fund was not sufficient in my account so the cheque got bounced. They informed after one or two monthe and we paid them the cash and again we reminded them that they should deposit the cheque on or after 10th of every month. Surprisingly without any information to us by letter or by mail they imposed penalty of Rs 1000 and we called to know in your panipat office only after 2 months when we ask for NOC. So the complain is for the amount without any intimation to us they imposed penalty, although we paid total loan amount and our record was clear. I think as a fair practice if they found that we paid their total loan amount in time, they could have waived this penalty or atleast they should have intimated us for this. I call today in your customer care office two time and talk to Mr. Nares and Mr. Shiv Prasad, but they did not respond in a positive way. I think this is not the proper way to handle a good customer whose record says that he has cleared the loan amount in time. please do the needful and waived this amount and give me NOC.

In your case also they have sanctioned Rs.3500 less. that means they have increased the interest amount. It is their policy first to catch the customers by offering lower interest rate and then sanctioning less amount. Surely they have increased the interest amount in your case also. I am also suffering the same problem with these cheats.'

in march 2009 i hve purchased bike 180cc pulser from bajaj dewan bike showroom lajpat nagar near central market new delhi, they have issued temparory RC but yet they did't provide orignal RC so wat should i do now, several time i phoned there for getting info about RC but they did't give any acurate answer

I purchased bajaj pulsar 150 in Oct2009 my first cheque is bounced but my account balance is not nil. what the reason for my first cheque bounced.
