[Resolved]  Bandbox — Damaged the cloth/embroidery

I have given my new suite for a fist time wash after wearing it only once.

I told the Franchise of the urgent delivery which they agreed for a double charge as i had to wear the suite in my own wedding reception.

On the delivery date Bandbox presented me the suite with a number of new stains which were not there when given for wash.The franchise owner suggested to wear it on my reception as the occassion was on the next day and he cannot do anything in 12 hrs and he will wash the suite again without any extra charge.

I gave the suit back to him for wash, this time the one stain near the shoulder remained even after wash which he again and again told me to accept.I did not accepet and asked my suit in the same conditon as i gave him.He said he willl give my contact number to Bandbox officers and they will contact me in 2 days.

After Two days when i went to them to say noone has contacted, he said the stain are now completely removed, however, i was shoked to see the result because they have removed the stain but while doing so destroyed the Embroidery, now they say please accept this because this is a small damage and cannot be seen unless one focus there.They also say this cannot be called damage and this happens sometimes.They are not ready to accept this as Damage.

Even the Manager MR. AJAY ADITYA in Bandbox was ill manared and irresponsible, does not know how to speak to customer and just shouting on the phone to hide their mistake.In the two instances i spoke to him he hardly allowed me to speak, narrating his own story.

This happened in Kolkata and I am a Bangalore resident so i have to accept the suit in that condition.I am thinking of going to consumer court and drage this company but coz am a person in Job so cannot contribut the required time.I wish they face the worst that can happen in one way or other and realise the pain they give to cutomers.My suit costing thousands seems waste in just one use.

Request all you friends not to deal with this irresponsible company so that noone else have to take this pain.

Bandbox — Lost of material

I given my daughter's new cardigan to BandBox, 2/129, Bijoygarh, jadavpur, kolkata-700032, for 1st time washing after the 1st time use only along with other 7 materials on 31.10.12. BandBox receipt no. 7719
Delivery time as per receipt was 17.11..12. As usual BandBox unable to deliver the material on 17.11.12 and on 01.12.12 I got 7 items except the cardigan. BandBox, Bijoygarh asked me for the full payment and assuming that the I shall get the cardigan within few days, I paid the full washing charge of Rs.480/- against the receipt no. 7719. After that, I visited BandBox, bijoygarh several time also talked with BandBox Work Shop official Mr. Ajoy ([protected]) on 26.12.12, but not get any positive reply. Now after a period of 2 months, BandBox, Bijoygarh informing that, the cardigan has been lost and they will pay 8 times of the washing charges ( Rs.40 x 8 ) =Rs.320/- against that cardigan. The price of the cardigan was Rs.1500/-. So I refused to take the compensation.

Now I am requesting to my all friends not to go to irresponsible companies like BandBox, so that, no one will be take pain which I got from BandBox.

Bandbox — Saree tearing

I am a regular customer of bandbox sanjaynagar. .We are not happy about their service. They tore my silk saree and they not ready to repair it. i paid money for that for their fault. Even i told them am going to complain. Can you take this matter seriously so that so many ll get benifit out of this

Bandbox — my expensive cloth for mending is lost

I have given my expensive salwar for mending in the month of may. They have lost my salwar .No action has been taken till yet...(now its august).plz help!!

I talked with BandBox Work Shop officials ( Mr.Ajoy [protected] and with Mr. Subir)on 26.12.12 but could not get any positive response. one week back BandBox, bijoygarh contact with me over telephone and told that, the cardigan has been lost and they will pay me 8 times of the washing charge i.e. Rs.320/- ( washing charge Rs.40/-) and the price of the cardigan was Rs.1500/-

So I am requesting all my friends not to go to irresponsible companies like BandBox, so that, no one else have to loose materials like me and to take pain and face harassment, what I faced.
