DOMLUR BATA -WORST SERVICE FROM MANAGER AND SALES BOY
I went to buy a pair of sports shoes after trying product when i asked teh sales boy to get a new pair of same shoes since the display shoes had worn out, to my shock the boy replied its not your house to get new pair, , the manager there at domlur main road was even more pathethic he said we handle many customers i[censored] want you buy or you can go, ... MR.. CEO OR COO IF YOU ARE HEARING PLEASE LISTEN ITS CUSTOMERS WHO CAN RUN OR RUIN YOUR BUSINESS, IF THIS ATTITUDE PEOPLE YOU APPOINT THEN BATA WILL NO MORE BE A CHOICE TO EDUCTAED AND RESPECTFUL CUSTOMERS ..IT WILL BE A THIRD GRADE CHOICE ..PLEASE MAIL IF YOU HAVE TAKEN ANY ACTION

Sub: Defective footwear not replaced or returned

I purchased a pair of shoes from Bata shoe store located on College Street, Kolkata Customer’s Claim Settlement Slip No. 4375, for one month I used it in a road in Kolkata.

Since one of them got torn on the lower portion, I approached Sales Manager of Bata showroom with the defective pair and handover to Sales Counter. I was told that I would get a replacement from Bata. I could not go to collect the pair for a month. When I finally went to get it on next month, I was told to Sales Manager that he would give me a call the very next day after hearing
from the Bata company which of course he never did.

After one week I went to the shop to know the status of my complaint. I was told by one of his assistants, that I could not take a replacement.

It came as a rude shock to me that a reputed company like Bata does not have a policy in place to take back a defective product. Also sales Manager was very discourteous and told me that the pair I returned for replacement was not traceable.
